Henry Cavill is going on his last hunt as the Witcher. Another trailer was unveiled at this year's TUDUM, showing the actor saying goodbye to Geralt of Rivia.
We are only a few days away from the premiere of the third season of The Witcher. On the occasion of this year's TUDUM, Netflix has released another teaser, and there's a lot going on here.
On the less than three-minute material we can see the three main characters, who have to deal with a group of Rience's thugs. What strikes the eye is better choreography of fights, as well as special effects of spells cast by Yennefer. This shouldn't be particularly surprising, as Wolfgang Stegemann, whose hand was responsible for the former, including the scene in Blaviken from the first season.
The spotlight, however, is once again on Henry Cavill, who proves on the video how well he felt in the role of Geralt of Rivia. Unfortunately for fans of this character, the third season will be the last in which we will see this actor. His place will be taken by Liam Hemsworth.
From the official description of the series, it appears that the upcoming season of The Witcher will focus on the further training of Ciri, who, along with Yennefer, will end up in Arethusa. The sorceress hopes to learn more about the girl's dormant powers, but along with her she will end up in the middle of a conflict.
Finally, let us remind you that the third season of The Witcher will be divided into two parts. The first, consisting of five episodes, will debut on Netflix on une 29. We will have to wait less than a month for the next episodes. The final episodes will be available for viewing starting July 27.
