„This s**t ain't cooked in an air fryer.” Baldur's Gate 3 player asked question that everyone wanted to know the answer to. Larian, however, holds his tongue
Michael Douse, or Larian Studios' publishing director, is extremely excited about the company's next project. To impatient fans, he responds that „this s**t ain't cooked in an air fryer”.
Not so long ago, Swen Vincke, the director of the award-winning Baldur's Gate III, said that Larian studio is creating another crazy thing thanks to the success of that game. Today, however, the publishing company's director, Michael Douse, added his two cents and really got players fired up.
Douse commented on Larian Studios' post on X, where they shared stats about players' achievements in BG3. As he wrote himself, he's super excited about the next project the developer is working on and doesn't have time to dwell on the past.
I am so insanely excited for what's next. Too busy to dwell on the past. You'll forgive me later.
These three short sentences got the community excited about the new game. People started asking questions and sharing their thoughts under the post of the publishing director, who was energetically responding and giving us some juicy details.
One of the fans mentioned that they would like to experience similar feelings while exploring or have a similar level of agency in the new title as in the third "Baldur's Gate." Douse stated that: "Agency is our middle name." So we will probably get characters as charismatic as Karlach, Astarion, or Gale.
Another curious player wanted to know when the official announcement might be made, and suggested the years 2026 and 2027. A representative from Larian Studios had an interesting and blunt response to that expectation. He replied: "This shit ain't cooked in an air fryer bro sorry got nothing for you right now." And presumably we won't receive anything for a long time, as Vincke himself spoke in April about working in "deep trenches," referring to the next project.
