Cyberpunk 2077's best weapons are sometimes found in the most obvious places. All it takes is a good enough search.
Ah, Night City. A city where gangs, mercenaries, and fixers never sleep. Our V always has something to do, often using all available means. The more we focus on the missions, the better weapons we will need - unless you're okay with loading a save at every stealth approach.
Contrary to appearances, to get the best weapons in Cyberpunk 2077, we don't have to complete a dozen missions for a fixer or wait for important story moments. Some of them (like the already famous Skippy) can be found on the streets. All you need to do is look around carefully.
You can find more useful information in our guide:
Prototype: Shingen Mark V is a Smart machine gun, perfectly suited for those fights where the fastest possible elimination of a group of enemies counts. The weapon is indeed waiting for us on a silver platter (or rather in a silver suitcase), but it requires us to look around the environment in one of the main missions. That's right - you've probably walked past this gun many times and didn't even pay attention to it.

We are talking about the task Gimme Danger, during which we break into Arasaka Industrial Park with the help of Takemura. Did you manage to already complete this mission? Don't worry - you can return to the warehouse later (or even before that quest). It is crucial to find the container marked with the number 667, in which our Shingen is hidden.
While breaking in, remember to disarm the security systems placed at the entrance. You don't want the security to notice you, right? We don't want another Arasaka Tower here... at least not yet.

After disarming the traps, you can collect the machine gun that can target three opponents at once and shoot explosive bullets. Additionally, each shot has a 30 percent chance of setting the opponent on fire - considering it's rapid-fire, V will easily turn any shootout into a fireworks display. Such a combination of statistics makes it one of the most deadly weapons in the entire game.
