Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition released, free for previous owners

Titan Quest, a successful hack-and-slash from 2006, has got an Anniversary Edition, which is free for all those who already own the original Steam release.

THQ Nordic has a nice surprise for action RPG enthusiasts, namely the release of Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition. This enhanced version of the successful hack-and-slash from 2006 and its official expansion has launched digitally on Steam, GOG.com and other online stores, where it is currently on sale for $4.99. However, if you own the original Titan Quest or Titan Quest: Immortal Throne on Steam, you will get the Anniversary Edition for free. Actually, it should already be there in your Steam Library.

What’s new in the Anniversary Edition? First of all, the game features restored and improved multiplayer. The developers also provided high resolutions support, tweaked performance and stability, Steam Workshop functionality, improved AI, complete rebalance and multiple bug fixes as well as new heroes and bosses to encounter. Of course, Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition offers all the content from the original game and its expansion, Immortal Throne. The game’s story invites you to a universe inspired by the mythology of ancient Greece, Egypt, and Asia, where you battle legendary beasts and become a great hero.
