Total War: Rome Remastered Compared to Original

A video was posted on YouTube, showing the differences in visuals between Total War: Rome from 2004 and the remaster, which will be released on April 29.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. A short visual comparison of Total War: Rome Remastered with the original 2004 version has appeared online;
  2. In the video we see, among others, new textures, models and lighting system.

A comparison has appeared on the Total War strategy game series channel on YouTube, showing the visual differences between the original version of Total War: Rome and the recently announced remaster. Unfortunately, the video is quite short, but it gives us an idea of what we can expect from the refreshed edition.

We must admit that the differences are very clear - improved textures, the appearance of models, as well as lighting and shadow system. It is worth noting that not only the graphics, which we observe during the battles, have changed - the strategic map has also been improved. Modern players will also enjoy support for wide and ultra-wide displays and 4K resolution.

Total War: Rome Remastered will be released on PC on April 29th this year. The title is available on Steam. Owners of the original version get a 50% discount.
