Train Sim World 4 With Possible Release Date; Price Mentioned
It looks like we have learned the release date for the next part of the popular train simulator series - Train Sim World 4. The game may come out later this year.
Fans of train simulators apparently got quite a reason to be happy. It is very possible that Train Sim World 4 is in the pipeline. What's more, you won't have to wait long for the game's release. Rumors suggest that the new installment of the series will debut on September 26, while pre-orders will launch on August 22. According to new information, the moment Train Sim World 4 launches, the previous part will disappear from sale.
This news comes from a reliable informant, known on Twitter as billbil-kun. The rumors he provided are very often reliable, so it can be considered that the news about the fast approaching Train Sim World 4 is very close to the truth.
The informant claims, that the basic version of the game will cost at least 40 euros. In addition, Train Sim World 4 will offer a ton of additional content - according to unofficial information, there will be at least a hundred DLCs.
Such a large number of expansions would not be something new. All the expansion for Train Sim World 2 cost over $600 in total. The current installment of the series, Train Sim World 3, has considerably more DLCs, for which you have to pay more than $1000 in total - and that's all considering the discounted price. Although billbil-kun did not confirm the compatibility of expansions from previous installments with the new game, it can be assumed that the developers will at least consider such option (hence the mention of such a large number of them). If only because the DLCs from Train Sim World 2 and Train Sim World 2020 can be launched in Train Sim World 3.
So far there is no official information on Train Sim World 4. Rumors do not state when the developers will reveal the game.
