Ubisoft Removes Impossible Task From Assassin's Creed Valhalla

The Egghead Challenge in Assassin's Creed Valhalla has been temporarily removed due to bugs that made it impossible to complete. However, players need not fear for their reward - it will not be lost.

Z Assassin's Creed: Valhalla removed a quest that had been impossible to complete since its introduction late last month.. The Egghead Challenge required players to kill a certain number of enemies with headshots, for which there was a reward in the form of the Einherjar bow. However, that wasn't happening because the game wasn't crediting the kills. The temporary removal of the task was announced via the official Assassin's Creed account on Twitter.

It is also important to note that the prize for the quest is not lost - We will receive it when the publisher will deal with the bug.

In addition to the information regarding the challenge, Ubisoft has updated the list of community-reported bugs with several new ones related to the Sigrblot Festival event. These are:

  • Loss of character control after selecting a fishing line from the action wheel when killing a wolf in the Three Big Pigs festival quest. Players should then load the previous save;
  • Inability to accept the quest if the player "pushes" the client. You will have to leave the location, move to another location and come back.

A reminder that recently Valhalla received update 1.3.0, which brought some new content and improvements not only to the base game, but also to the Wrath of the Druids expansion. The update also provided an introduction to the Sigrblot Festival.
