UFC 5 Announced; Trailer, Release Date and Price Revealed
UFC 5 has received an official announcement. Electronic Arts has presented its trailer and release date, and published details on content and pricing for its various editions.
Electronic Arts has announced EA Sports UFC 5. The game is headed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and will debut on October 27. The publisher released the first trailer, and also shared a handful of details about it.
- UFC 5 is expected to take dueling to a whole new level. The developers argue that they have properly used the capabilities of the Frostbite engine, so that fighter models will please the eye with details and realistic animations.
- A new body damage system will be implemented in the game. Received blows will affect the mobility, defense and endurance of our fighter, while too much damage will result in the intervention of a doctor, who will assess whether we will be able to continue the fight.
- For fans of ground fighting, a new system has been prepared to make wrestling more fluid and realistic.
- In addition the game will offer spectacular knockout replays, which will enable us to watch the effects of the blows crowning the duel up close.
- The icing on the cake will be a revamped live service schedule with a variety of challenges available on the weeks when real-life fights take place.
UFC 5 - price and game editions
UFC 5 will be available in two editions: standard, priced at $69.99, and Deluxe, costing $99.99.
- The former will include the basic version of the game, the "30th Anniversary Vanity Bundle," five bonuses for the online career mode and Muhammad Ali as a playable character.
- The Deluxe version will offer the basic version of the game, the ability to start playing three days before the official release, three playable fighters: Mike Tyson, Fedor Emelianenko and Muhammad Ali. In addition, there will be a "Bruce Lee Bundle," "Origins Bundle" and "30th Anniversary Vanity Bundle," as well as five bonuses for the online career mode.
