Unreal 4-based space dogfighting game Voidrunner to be beta tested soon

Voidrunner is an Unreal 4-based space fighter combat game, which is soon going to be beta tested. The title is to offer impressive open environments and VR support.

RealityArts have announced that their Unreal Engine 4-based space dogfighting action game called Voidrunner is soon going to be beta tested. You can sign up for the closed beta on the official website. Voirdunner is targeted first for PC (Windows, Mac, Linux) and then modern consoles (most likely Xbox One and PlayStation 4). The title is going to feature exotic landscapes with psychedelic feel, and will also offer full VR support starting from its open beta. The plan is to make the game available in Steam Early Access, but there is no telling when exactly it will happen.

Voidrunner is going to offer 11 game modes for both single player and multiplayer, such as classic Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Miner, as well as original ones: Destroy the Base, City Attack and Voidspace Attack. Taking after the RPG genre, Voidrunner will feature character progression and different ship classes allowing players to serve unique roles in their team (tanks, snipers, fighters, etc). Besides, spacecraft will be highly customizable to better suit player’s playstyle.
