On the occasion of the first closed tests, the creators of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt revealed the system requirements for the PC version. They are surprisingly high, but players suggest that the provided configurations are greatly exaggerated and the game also works well on weaker PCs.
Sharkmob conducted the first round of closed alpha testing of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, which is an online action game that enables us to take part in battle royale clashes between vampires. On this occasion, the creators have updated the game's card on Steam, adding information about systemrequirements.
As you can see, the requirements are very high. Especially since this is a F2P game. Most developers of free productions with microtransactions do their best to make their titles work even on weak PCs.
Most likely, however, these configurations apply only to the alpha version. Before the official releases Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt will probably be further optimized. What's more, testers report on the Steam forum that the current requirements are greatly exaggerated and do not reflect the true performance of the project. The alpha edition was supposed to run at 60-120 fps on a PC with an AMD Radeon 580 card and an Intel Core i5-11500 processor, on medium and high settings.
So it's possible that the creators purposely overestimated the official system requirements, because for now they want to test elements such as gameplay and network code, and not how the game performs on weaker PCs.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt is coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, with released scheduled for this year. The creators have a lot of tests planned, for now only on PC, so if you want to take part in them, you should go to the official website and register.
