What is Red Gear?

Red items are the rarest and at the same time the most powerful gear in the game, so it's no wonder that so many people hunt for them and have trouble getting them. Due to their rarity and randomness, there is no one proven way to get them, which is why you have to reckon with long farming. However, there are methods that to some extent increase the chance of getting a red item.

How to acquire Red Gear?

1. The first way is to play on difficulty levels Legend and Cataclysm and acquiring Vaults. The higher the difficulty level, the greater the chance of getting red gear.
2. The second way is to collect as many Tomes and Grimoires, which improve the quality of Vaults, thus increasing the chance of getting a red item.
3. If you get a few unwanted red items, you can salvage them to get Red Dust. Five pieces of Red Dust will enable you to upgrade your chosen item from Exotic to Veteran level, a red item.

Acquiring red gear is a difficult and often very time-consuming job and relies mainly on luck, so sometimes you can play for a very long time without acquiring any red gear, while other players are lucky enough to be able to acquire this type of equipment within a relatively short session in the game.
