Visually stunning logic game Reset delayed to 2017; check out new 4K screenshots

If you have been hoping to play Reset this week, we're sorry, but that's not going to happen. The game's creators at indie studio Theory Interactive pushed back the release date once more.

Just two days before the planned release, Reset, a visually stunning logic game by Finnish indie studio Theory Interactive, has been delayed again, this time to an unspecified date in 2017. The two-men team at Theory Interactive simply needed more time to finish their ambitious-sounding project, plus they aren’t very good at estimating time (which they admitted themselves). In order to help the fans wipe away the tears, the developers shared a couple of 4K screenshots (you can view them in original resolution on the official website) presenting some in-game environments:

Reset is an upcoming logic game with elements of action, set in a sci-fi universe. Its gameplay is based on the theme of manipulating time and space in order to create “copies” of the protagonist. These mechanics underlay the in-game puzzles, which often require both wits and reflexes. Apart from this interesting idea, Reset stands out with really impressive graphics, powerd by an in-house engine called Praxis.

Reset has existed in players’ awareness since April 2012, when Theory Interactive first revealed an atmospheric tech demo. Later the project was approved in Steam Greenlight and crowdfunded via IndieGoGo in 2013. Initially, Reset was planned to launch in 2014, but that date clearly proved far-fetched. For more than a year and a half now the game has been available as playable beta for backers.
