Everything we know about Ghost of Yotei coming on Steam so far. How long will PC players have to wait for this one.

We finally have a date! Ghost of Yotei is launching on PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2025. But that leaves one big question: what about the PC release? We had to wait a long time for Ghost of Tsushima to eventually land on Steam, so hopefully things will be different this time.
Sucker Punch Productions just revealed a brand-new trailer for Ghost of Yotei, and this time, they came through with the release date. On top of that, they also revealed what’s included in the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions, along with their prices. Safe to say, there’s a lot to unpack. Preorders kick off on May 2, so the hype train is definitely picking up speed.
For all the PC players out there hoping to get their hands on Ghost of Yotei, there’s no good news just yet. So far, nothing's been confirmed about a PC release. If we look back at Ghost of Tsushima, that one originally launched in July 2020 on PlayStation, and it wasn’t until almost four years later that the Director’s Cut (which launched on PS4 and PS5 in August, 2021) finally made its way to Steam.
So while there’s still a glimmer of hope, we might be in for another long wait before Ghost of Yotei shows up on Steam. Unless, of course, Sony decides to change things up and fast-track the release this time around. And there’s even a pretty good reason for them to consider it, as Ghost of Tsushima didn’t just do well on PC, it crushed it. It even outperformed God of War: Ragnarok and claimed the title as Sony’s biggest singleplayer launch on this platform.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
