Reacher is back with season 3. In the new episodes we will see a completely new approach to his adventures, which we can owe to the book the creators have chosen for adaptation. The Jack Reacher novels have the advantage that they can be read in any order, which gives a lot of freedom to the series' creators in choosing material for the next seasons – they can play with the order and surprise viewers.

And since the series creators don't have to stick to the order in which the books were written, fans of the Prime Video production are probably wondering what Reacher season 3 is based on. A story from the book Persuader, the 7th novel in the series, was used.

In it, Reacher undertakes an undercover mission. In order to infiltrate a criminal organization, Reacher quickly rises through its ranks, gaining more and more trust. These will be entirely new circumstances in which we will see the series' Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson, as he has so far operated with support, able to count on them at all times. Now he will be on his own, and his forceful solutions, which he often goes for, will not be a good option. Now he will have to be cunning and calculating to deceive his enemies.
