What is TOS Breach in R6 Siege. All you need to know
TOS Breach is one of the ban reasons in R6 Siege. So, what is hiding behind this message?

Recent days were harsh for the Rainbow Six: Siege community, as players report increased number of cheaters. There is hope that the latest Shieldguard security update (which introduced alt tab bug) will help. We know that for some people it may be hard to believe, but Ubisoft tries to fight cheaters. If you are a long-term player, you are accustomed to long lists of banned people which are shown on your screen from time to time. One of the common reasons to suspend someone’s account is TOS Breach. If you are wondering what is hiding behind this message, you are in a good place. Let me explain the details.
What is TOS Breach in R6 Siege?
There are many reasons why you can be banned in R6 Siege. Cheating, botting and toxic behavior surprise no one, as we all understand what these terms mean. However, you may also sometimes see something called “TOS Breach” in the list of bans. It’s definitely less obvious than other reasons.
TOS stands for “Terms of Service”. R6 Siege, like most of the software on the Internet, has its own regulations about what you can do. The long list of prohibited by Ubisoft activities among others includes:
- cheating,
- botting,
- toxic behavior,
- boosting,
- buying or selling accounts,
- abusing game glitches,
- giving false information when registering,
- impersonating other people or Ubisoft developers,
- using inappropriate username or avatar,
- DDoSing,
- griefing.
So, TOS breach means everything that breaks the rules and doesn't qualify in the cheating, botting and toxic behavior categories. If you are doing anything forbidden, you will be punished (at least let’s hope so).
