Peak allows you to use many items to help you reach the top of the mountain. Let’s talk about two of them – Bugle of Friendship and Compass.
Past week, a funny co-op game called Peak appeared on PC (sadly, console players have to wait for some information on the potential ports). As the title suggests, the main goal is to reach the top of the mountain. To achieve this goal, you must carefully choose the path. You should manage your stamina properly to avoid falling and dying. But I have good news. There are some items that will help you during your adventure. So, let’s talk about Bugle of Friendship and Compass.
Bugle of Friendship is one of the most useful items available in Peak. Unfortunately, at the same time, it’s quite rare. You can find it in statues located at campsites and Ancient Chests.
Ok, you know where to find it, but what does Bugle of Friendship really do? If you (or one of your friends) find one, you can use it to receive infinite stamina for 10 seconds and it does not have any drawbacks like in the case of Big Lollipop. However, its biggest advantage is that it works on all team members. Great boost – especially when everyone is alive. The best moment to use it is when you face a difficult fragment of the road and your team is low on power.
Compass, on the other hand, will help you with navigation. As you might expect, this item shows you the direction. This can be critically important in finding out where the peak is and, in some cases, it will save you and your team. Of course, don’t mistake it with Pirate’s compass, which also shows directions, but to the nearest unopened luggage.
These are not the only items you can find in the game. In the previous guide, I described the mechanics of reviving and what you need to do that. Among other things, you can read more about the Cursed Skull that allows you to revive all your nearby teammates, removes their status effects and restores full stamina. However, the price for this is high.
