When Will tModLoader Update To 1.4.4 Terraria

In this article, we address the question of when tModLoader will get an update to Terraria version 1.4.4.

tModLoader is a platform created by fans to develop and easily use mods for Terraria. Given the popularity and the sandbox nature of the game, which encourages content creation, tModLoader has become extremely popular. However, recently Terraria received an update to version 1.4.4. So players are curious about when will tModLoader update to 1.4.4 as well. In this article, we will discuss this issue.

When Will tModLoader Update To 1.4.4

As of yet, there is no officially announced date that can specify when the 1.4.4 update will arrive for tModLoader. However, there was a notice on the mod's official Discord, dated September 28, 2022, that the update would certainly take months, not days. At the same time, the developer stressed that the work is ongoing, and more information can be expected in the future as it progresses. This leaves us to wait.

It is worth noting that the previous major update to Terraria (1.4) came to tModLoader after 2 years. It was released in May 2020, while the mod received it in June 2022. However, at the same time, it should be noted that it contained more "big" changes. So there is a good chance that the waiting period will be shorter this time. Update 1.4.4. will still require a lot of work from developers. It can be estimated that probably around a year (but this is still a guess, it depends on many factors).

Remember that tModLoader is created by volunteers in their spare time. They are certainly doing their best to get the update up as soon as possible, which requires a great deal of commitment from them. So let's wait and be patient.
