Warlock and Falconer from Last Epoch in Detail. Stranger Things Star Promotes Diablo 4 Rival Just Before Release
The developers of Last Epoch, a game that could be a strong rival to Diablo 4, have given us a more detailed look at the Warlock and Falconer classes. The game of Eleventh Hour Games will be released next week.
The complete version of Last Epoch will finally be released next week after almost five years in early access. To further intensify the atmosphere before the premiere, the devs provided us with a more detailed look at two character classes and their abilities.
From the latest announcement by developers from Eleventh Hour Games, we learned more about the Warlock and the Falconer.
Last Epoch - we got to know the Warlock and the Falconer better
Warlocks, as "practitioners of forbidden arts," will use five skills and spells during the game. These characters will focus especially on weakening their opponents, regardless of the distance between them and their target. The Warlocks will have the following abilities:
- Chthonic Fissure - a crack opens in the ground from which spirits fly out to torment our opponents;
- Chaos Bolts - fire and projectiles appear that deal area damage;
- Ghostflame - a powerful beam of energy that quickly consumes mana;
- Soul Feast - the soul is torn out of our cursed enemies, and its fragments strengthen our defenses;
- Profane Veil - we turn into an ephemeral cloud of cursed energy and deal damage over time.
As the name of the class suggests, the Falconer will use a tamed falcon. This character is meant to blend multiple gameplay styles, excelling in close combat as well as long-range battles - using a bow to shoot or throwing objects at enemies. In total, the Falconer will have six abilities:
- Falconry - summons a falcon that provides support during battle and follows our commands;
- Falcon Strikes - on our command, a falcon circling over the battlefield locates opponents and attacks them with strong air strikes;
- Aerial Assault - a falcon takes us from one place to another. After he leaves us behind, he sends a storm of feathers towards nearby opponents;
- Dive Bomb - the falcon shoots into the air and then dives, dealing large area damage;
- Net - a net is thrown over our opponents, slowing them down and weakening them;
- Explosive Trap - we set a deadly trap that explodes on first contact (the longer we place it, the more damage it deals).
Let's remember that Last Epoch will officially be released on PC on February 21st. Many people are waiting for the game, as evidenced by the million copies sold during early access. It's also worth adding that this action RPG is promoted by the star of Stranger Things - David Harbor, who plays one of the main roles in Alone in the Dark, which will be released next month. Notably, an item related to this actor will appear in Last Epoch. Most likely, it will be a helmet for the Acolyte, but we haven't yet learned the details.
