IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Streamer DesMephisto has maxed-out 49 warrior charcters in World of Warcraft;
  2. The player also broke the world record for the longest gaming session in WoW;
  3. The aim of the action is to increase awareness of autism.

World of Warcraft streamer DesMephisto has reached max level (120) with 49 warrior characters. He also broke the world record for the longest single session in the game (36 hours). His activities are part of the World of Warriors marathon, which aims to increase public awareness of autism (via GameRant).

The choice is not a coincidence - DesMephisto suffers from the condition himself. Some time ago it appeared during a stream, when at some point the player started beating himself. This was an example of the so-called stimmingu, i.e. the repetition of a certain action that occurs when people with autism are excited or stressed. The player is also involved in various social campaigns - for example, he helped to raise $5,000 for the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network.

World of Warcraft is DesMephisto's passion - the title was his way of making contact with other people and helped him develop important social skills. The current action aims to highlight the positive features of the game and how it can support people in similar situations. The streamer hopes to develop his action over time into a social campaign called Warriors of Autism, in which a variety of charity entities will take part.
