Ever since the first announcement of Thunderbolts it seems that the show will be an unusual production for Marvel's cinematic universe. This is the opinion held by actor Wyatt Russell, who made his debut in the superhero universe in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where he played the role of John Walker, or later U.S. Agent.

The artist said that the upcoming movie will surprise with high quality. The actor is aware that currently Marvel is not well spoken of, but the new movie's script is said to have great potential and stands out from other MCU productions (vide The Hollywood Reporter).

Russell spoke in very positive terms about the director of Thunderbolts Jake Schreier. He belives the filmmaker demands from himself to create a distinctive production, which at the same time uses the full potential of all the actors. Wyatt Russell announces that it's "time to make a good Marvel movie.":

"I think there will be a lot of fun with it. I also hope that Marvel fans will look at the movie and say, 'This looks a little different, let's go with it.' We take the approach that it's time to work a little bit, it's time to make a good Marvel movie. So let's do it with hard work and not take anything for granted."

Unfortunately, we will still have to wait for the results of the hard work. Premiere of Thunderbolts has been postponed to July 25, 2025, a result not only of the screenwriter and actor strike, but also of internal changes at Disney. The studio has set its sights on a new strategy, reducing the number of releases of movies and TV shows from Marvel cinematic universe.
