Even Microsoft Laughs at the Name Xbox Series X

Microsoft has some distance from its own branding and naming. A slightly belated, but recently published original meme regarding the Xbox Series X console is proof of that.

What's better than one Xbox Series X? A whole series of Xbox Series X. And what do you say to a U.S. citizen who's just bought a few Xboxes and hasn't unpacked them yet? That he has "one series of Xbox Series X in boxes", haha!

Now this might not be so funny, after all, the meme with the herd of Xbox consoles has been around for quite a while online. However, Microsoft thought it was a good time to refer to it and publish its own, even more whacky version:

Now that's what you call a one-upmanship, but it could probably be made even more complicated - maybe someone has an idea?

I'm not sure if the speed of Microsoft's response is not an intentional, additional humorous element. It was the company's other creation, Internet Explorer, that became rife with memes making fun of the browser's - much exaggerated - slowness and instability.

It is good that the Redmond giant has distance to itself and can use many non-standard ways of advertising, such as Internet memes. If anyone would like to review those selected related to the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, I invite you to follow the link under the message.
