Ubisoft's New F2P Game Played by Over 1M People; Beta Extended

Although XDefiant's closed beta-testing is still ongoing, Ubisoft did not fail to boast online about the popularity of its latest game. Moreover, due to the numerous problems plaguing the title, the developers have decided to extend the current event.

XDefiant is a free-to-play FPP shooter from Ubisoft announced in 2021. Until now, the project has been created without making much noise, but the situation changed when beta tests of the game were launched a few days ago. They are enjoying an extremely high level of interest, as the developers announced online.

From the post published by the developers we learn that the title has already been tried out by more than 1 million players. Considering that we are still talking about the closed beta, this result is really impressive.

"Thank you to everyone who has played the closed beta so far! Your feedback is extremely helpful and we are happy to hear from more than 1 million players!," the message reads.

The community's response is having an effect, as the developers are making changes to the game on an ongoing basis, which they systematically report.

Interestingly, due to numerous crashes occurring during the testing, Ubisoft has decided to extend the beta period. It will end not on April 24, as originally planned, but on April 26 at 8:00 a.m. CET.

On the game's official Twitter profile, there was also a presentation of some of the most interesting actions by the players. You can watch the display of their skills below.

Finally, let us remind you that XDefiant is heading for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, as well as the Amazon Luna service. Unfortunately, for the moment there is no information related to the exact release date of the game.
