How to get Map-O-Matic?

You can get Map-O-Matic only after you make enough progress in the game - reach the planet Ardolis, where you have to find and rescue Captain Quantum.

You need to finish the optional mission objective - Treasure Hunt. Once you reach the central circular area, do not head west. Instead, follow the side quest icon by heading north. Jump onto a ship with hostile pirates.

An optional path will lead you to a tavern where you will fight a lot of pirates. After winning the battle, use the elevator and deal with more opponents.

Next, you must find the treasure chest. It will contain the Map-O-Matic.

How does Map-O-Matic work?

Map-O-Matic is a unique gadget that marks the most important secrets on the map. It can tag:

1. Gold Bolts
2. Raritanium deposits (blue crystals)
3. Spybots
4. Armor parts

After you get the Map-O-Matic, the game will automatically add icons of discovered collectibles to the map. You do not have to manually activate the Map-O-Matic or perform any additional actions. What's more, icons will also appear in places you haven't discovered yet. This is a very big help in getting 100% of the secrets on each map.
