Sniper Elite 3 Afrika: Halfaya Pass Map and statistics

The picture above shows the map of the location, in which the third mission takes place. It consists of some mountain regions and some low-lying parts. They are connected with narrow passages and even narrower corridors. The most important places, mission objectives, main paths and secrets, are marked on the map.

You can also see some dots on the map, which are:

• Red dots mark the places where you can encounter usual enemies - Attention: Some of them do not stay in one place, but keep patrolling the area.
• Blue dots symbolize the location of enemy snipers. They are serious enemies with proper sniper equipment. They guard the area from high lookout points.
• Green dots mark the location of the truck with enemies on board and the tank that is not used by the enemy at first (at the end of the mission there will be another tank patrolling the location).

Mission preparation

Before the mission starts, you should check if there are any new weapons available, due to your leveling up. You should also prepare some land mines and/or dynamite, which will be helpful in destroying the tank at the end of the mission.

Mission statistics

Optional objectives and challenges:

• You have to find and execute gen Hoesslein. First, you need to obtain two documents connected to the general (green spots number 2 and 6 on the map). The general himself can be found near the northern artillery position (number 13 on the map). This quest is further described in the main walkthrough.
• You have to destroy the tank and the truck located in the motorpool. Number 9 on the map marks their position. You can find further info about successfully sabotaging the vehicles in the walkthrough.
• You have to sabotage the communication between the enemy forces. To do that, you will need to find a switch in the basement of the building marked with number 10. The dangers that await you there are described in the walkthrough.
• You have to visit three Sniper Nests.
• You have to perform one Long Shot. This shot can be performed when sitting in the Sniper Nest on a tower in the central part of the map (number 2).

Secrets:

• You have to find nine War Diaries.
• You have to find three Collectible Cards.
