Sniper Elite 3 Afrika: Siwa Oasis Map and statistics

The above screenshot presents the map of the location in which you play the fifth mission of the game. What is interesting, the title oasis takes up a, relatively, small portion of the map and additionally, it does not offer any special attractions. You will spend the majority of your time, while exploring the streets of the old city. First of all, on the map, there have been the key places marked (mission objectives main paths, etc.) and the whereabouts of collectibles.

Apart from that, you there are colorful lines and dots on the map:

• The red dots signify the places where you encounter the opponents- Note: some of the enemies do not stay put and they patrol a given area.
• The blue dots signify the locations of the enemy snipers. Note - The snipers that arrive towards the end of the mission, have been marked in yellow 18 markers and they can, apart from that, change positions.
• The red line signifies the route of the enemy officer, who you need to follow in the final part of the mission.
• The green line signifies the route patrolled by the enemy tank which you need to destroy towards the end of the mission.

Preparations for the mission

This mission provides you with plenty opportunity for elimination of the enemies at long range. Therefore, it would be good to make sure that you arm yourself with the best sniper rifle available for you, at the moment. It is necessary that you also take M24 grenades and dynamite - they will come in handy, while blowing up the enemy AA stations and for destroying the enemy tank that appears in the city towards the end of the mission.

Mission statistics

Optional tasks and challenges:

• You need to destroy three AA stations. They are located in 6, 8 and 10, on the map. To learn more about how to sabotage them, see the walkthrough proper for this mission.
• You need to explore three depots in 9, 11 and 12 on the map. After you reach each of them, you simply need to stand in the middle of the room and wait for your character's commentary.
• You need to stage the German officer's accident. It is the character that you follow towards the end of the mission (start in point 15 and finish in 16). You need to blow up the truck, after the officer comes by. To learn more about how to do that, see the walkthrough proper for this mission.
• You need to visit three Sniper Nests.
• You need to score one Long Shot. You take this shot after you take your position in the sniper nest in the tower, to the North of the city (the blue point 3 on the map).

Collectibles:

• You need to find nine War Diaries.
• You need to find one Collectible Card.
