The Ascent: Ammo - is it limited?

Some actions in The Ascent like dodging or using augmentations and tactical grenades are limited by special points. This may make you wonder if the restrictions also apply to weapons. This page of the guide explains if the ammunition in the game is limited.

Will you run out of ammo?

Fortunately (looking at how many fights with different types of opponents are in the game), no weapon in the game will run out of ammo completely. Of course, the weapon must be reloaded after the magazine is empty, but there is no need to buy or find extra ammunition. Other actions do have some limitations, though. You can only dodge when there is at least one arrow next to your character's circle (they regenerate over time). In turn, using tactical weapons requires tactical recharging points - these will regenerate through combat or yellow vials dropped by enemies and automats. In addition, using augmentations is limited by the energy that recharges over time or by picking up blue vials.
