Skills in The Ascent are responsible for character attributes. They influence their health, critical damage chances and energy points. On this page we will tell you which skills are best.
The right set of skills in The Ascent will greatly facilitate the gameplay and help you to deal with subsequent opponents. This is especially important at the beginning of the game, when none of the skills is well developed, and each skill point should be carefully spent. Best starting skills
The most important skill for novice players is Vital Signs. Improving this skill increases the maximum level of health, which significantly raises your chance of survival. If your character dies a lot, we recommend investing 20 points in Vital Signs as soon as possible. The next step should be to develop Critical Hit Rate. Increasing the rate of critical hits affects the damage dealt. It is also worth investing some points in Weapon Handling and Aiming. The first skill determines the reload speed, and the second reduces the bullets spread.
