A letter next to the stone

Close to the rift, to the North of the small Western fort, there is a rift. Next to the rift, near the boulder, there is a letter (M17,16), from which you learn that some person has been taking detailed notes that you are interested in. Go to the three locations, marked on the map [M17,16a, M17,16b, M17,16c] to find the pages from the journal. After you collect the last one, the quest ends.
