Dying Light The Following: How to open military crates?

You receive the keycard from Jasir towards the end of the main quest - The Gathering

In the game world, there are completely new military crates and you can start looting them only after the end of the main quest The Gathering. It is then that you receive a Military Keycard from Jasir, which you need for opening the crates.

An example of a military crate

Each time you approach a crate to the distance of several tens of meters, you will hear a bleeping sound, frequency of which increases with the decreasing distance between you and the crate. Usually, you find crates in military outposts shown on the map and in the less accessible locations. After you have located one, you can use your keycard to open it. In the crates, there are highly valuable items, such as weaponry, ammo and blueprints.
