19 RPGs We Want to Play in 2023

Among the best announced RPGs, above all stand out new IPs and games that no one had heard of a year ago. The genre is slowly evolving, but rest assured - there will be a few familiar faces for old-timers, too.

  1. Setting: steampunk
  2. Developer: Acquire
  3. Platforms: PC, PS4, Switch, PS5

Octopath Traveler 2 is a continuation of the warmly received jRPG from 2018. This production successfully combines three-dimensional backgrounds and pixel art character designs, making for a unique atmosphere. As before, we will have to fight for more experience points in the steampunk world of Solistia, stretching over two continents.

The protagonist will be one of eight characters. It is only up to us which one we choose and who will remain to support us from the beginning with their special abilities (and this time they are to really make a difference!). We will meet unselected heroes anyway, but we will not use their full potential.

Players will fight in a turn-based system, forcing them to set a tactical plan for each battle. In addition, after the latent power indicator is full, we will be able to use a special ability , thanks to which we can win even a seemingly lost skirmish.
