New Video Games | March 2022 - Thaw Begins And This Month Doesn't Disappoint
The first months of 2022 have been unusually fruitful with good games. Everything indicates this trend will continue for some time. March also makes up for the lean years. Maybe not as exciting as February, but there's plenty of interesting titles coming.

The Settlers is back, but is that good?
The Settlers is actually the eighth installment in a series of economic strategies. The creators, however, approach this version as a reboot and hence the lack of a number next to the name. Meanwhile, perhaps it would be worth going back to the roots, because what has been shown so far looks more like a nail in the coffin of a famous brand than a revolution. The Settlers are no longer the same Settlers we know, but a truncated RTS.
These aren't the Settlers I haven't fought for!
The Settlers romances with the solutions from the third and fourth installments of the series, while making everything as shallow as possible. So if you count on an extensive economic strategy, you will be disappointed. The economy has been simplified a lot and combat seems rather uninteresting. Fortunately, the game looks interesting from the visual side, although fans of the series will certainly feel aggrieved – the new The Settlers game simply doesn't resemble its older predecessors and you have to accept it.
