So which games of 2023 are the best? What's worth the time and money right now, without waiting for discounts? Here's our list of the most interesting games released so far. The article will be updated as the year progresses.
Starfield
- Release date: September 6
- Platforms: PC, Xbox Series X/S
- Our score: 9.5/10
For a long, time Starfield has been hyping us up for a great space adventure. For Han Solo and Skyrim simulator in space combined. And in general, most of the announcements were confirmed. We received a game in the style known from other Bethesda titles, in which we can truly immerse ourselves for dozens of hours and experience incredible adventures. You can let your imagination run wild in the mechanics of building your spaceship or an outpost on an unknown planet.
Maybe it didn't turn out to be a perfect game, undoubtedly deserving a 10/10, but it's a product that will attract many people and offer them plenty of great fun. If Starfield falls short somewhere, it's mainly the technical limitations of the engine that prevent the gameplay's development. Meanwhile, considering other space production that focuses on online aspects, has no story or is still in the tech demo phase, Starfield offers the most complete and satisfying space RPG experience.
With hundreds of hours of gameplay, various quests to complete, and thousands of planets to survey and explore, Starfield capitalizes on everything that has worked for Bethesda in the past, giving us an experience that feels like a giant leap in greatness.
