Slay the Spire
WHAT EXACTLY WILL YOU DO HERE IN 5 MINUTES?
With this game, you may even defeat a few opponents in five minutes – especially once you get to know the cards and their function – thanks to them, the combat becomes a bit more intuitive. Our given time should be enough for a single battle, but to complete an act, you'll need to spend at least a few such minisessions.
Slay the Spire's tactical battles is a good alternative to arcade clashes in bloody Mortal Kombat. There may not be flashy finishers here, but the gameplay is very satisfying.
In essence, Slay the Spire is a card game with animated graphics. We begin with choosing cards of offensive and defensive functions from a pile of starting cards available to each hero. It is completely up to you to either initiate offense, or try to defend from enemy attacks. Interestingly, when choosing the cards we can take a look at what actions our enemy is planning in his next turn. And after a battle is over, we choose one card from the 3 available and take it with us, adding it to the pile of starting cards during the next clashes.
