WHAT EXACTLY WILL YOU DO HERE IN 5 MINUTES?
Don't expect easy – Tetris 99 is frequented by good players – your first games will end in defeats. However, if you persevere, you may score your first win in just below 5 minutes. This is too long? You can always forfeit the game by quickly getting the blocks to reach the upper level.
This cult-classic title can be great for a few minute break. Tetris 99 is another iteration of the cult classic, but with a twist – there are elements of battle royale here. This isn't a joke – during a single match, there may be as many as 99 players facing each other. How does the elimination process takes place, so that only the toughest player remain?
It's quite simple. The idea is the same as always – we place blocks of different types on top of our growing structure. In order to not lose – and this happens when the structure touches the upper border of the screen – we need to regularly clear levels of the construction, eliminating lines (which happens when we fill all fields in the given line) using a single Joy-Con. The second controller is used to choose the player we want to attack, adding blocks to his structure – if they loses because of us, we receive a badge. Simple?
