Persona 5 has already appeared on the European market in 2017, but as it sometimes happens, its creators have come up with new ideas and novelties – the amount of changes was not high enough to release the game as a next installment, but instead the game was refreshed and released in form of Royal edition. Persona 5 Royal will offer a few additional features and a completely new heroine. The latter will have a great impact on the course of the story presented in the game. Updated and refreshed game editions released after official game premieres are a hallmark of the series, and as we could expect, it's no different in this case.

The story of the game revolves around several high school students, who can use the smartphone app to teleport to other dimensions, which reflect different aspects of other characters' personalities. Including characters whose behavior is lawless and unethical – through actions taken by the heroes players can force such immoral individuals to get back on the righteous path. Students can act by using powerful avatars called Personas, which can be discovered in the aforementioned dimensions. The title of the series derives from this concept. This is not a very original theme for a jRPG, but the series is very interesting and even sceptics of this genre should give Persona a try.
