Strongest and Bravest Female Video Game Characters

There is no shortage of female characters in games these days. Especially when it comes to leading roles, there's been a huge improvement in female representation. Some of them wield magic, some are children of destiny, but all are incredibly courageous.

Sebille (Divinity: Original Sin 2)

Sebille is one of the oldest characters on this list. The fact that she is an elf, however, suggests that she's still relatively young. Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that for a really long time she had to work for the Prince of Shadows, a powerful lizard warlord who manipulated the creatures he had enslaved, forcing them to commit murders, robberies and silent coups. Sebille was not able to stand up to him for a long time.

The Prince of Shadows made use of manipulation techniques supported by magic. If he uttered certain words, Sebille was unable to make even a tiniest move against his will. In the non-canonical version, the killer even forced her to murder the protagonist (if, of course, it was not the elf herself).

In another one (though, to be exact, really difficult to implement), Sebille eventually kills her master, ceasing to be his slave. It was an act of great courage on her part. Emboldened by this event, the girl can also revolutionize elven society by destroying the Mother Tree's Heart. Although she is given this task by the Prince of Shadows, the liberated Sebille can now decide what is right on her own. Even if it means cutting severing her roots. Literally and figuratively.
