Fallout London: How to defend Swan & Mitre and help the Vagabonds?
Swan and Mitre is the headquarters of the Vagabonds faction from the game Fallout London. This page of the guide describes the defense of this location in the story mission - you will learn how to help the Vagabonds get rid of the Isle of Dogs Syndicate members.
While playing Fallout London you can visit the Vagabonds gang's hideout - it is Swan & Mitre, related to the story quest of the same title. Our walkthrough explains how to get to the Vagabonds headquarters, how to get rid of enemies from the Isle of Dogs Syndicate and successfully defend Swan & Mitre.
How to get to Swan & Mitre?

After completing the prologue and starting the On the Mend quest, you will meet Sebastian Gaunt, who will invite you to Swan & Mitre, the headquarters of his Vagabonds faction. You can go there straight away or visit Thameshaven first.
Start near the Train Crash location, i.e. near the derailed train. Head east first, as this will allow you to bypass large buildings and very high walls from the northern side. Only after passing the church and nearby residential buildings, turn south-east.

The Swan & Mitre area is surrounded by a wall and there are vehicle wrecks on the main road. You can jump on wrecks to avoid damage from touching the barbed wire.
Combat outside

Outside Swan & Mitre, members of the Vagabonds and the Isle of Dogs Syndicate are fighting each other- you should help the former in getting rid of the people from the Syndicate.
Enemies occupy the left multi-story parking lot. You can shoot them with firearms or reach the entrance to the parking lot and go upstairs - the latter option will also allow you to loot their bodies and obtain new firearms.
Killing members of the Isle of Dogs Syndicate will not irrevocably ruin your chances of establishing a relationship with this faction in the future. It's required though to advance in the Vagabonds related quest.
Combat inside Swan & Mitre

That's not all. Save your game and enter Swan & Mitre. More fighting is taking place inside the building.
We recommend using the VATS system - it will allow you to target only Syndicate enemies and reduce the risk of accidentally attacking a Vagabonds member. Use melee weapons (e.g. the knife you received from Sebastian) or a firearm suitable for close-range combat.
Defeating all enemies from the Isle of Dogs Syndicate will allow you to talk to Yvette and continue the Vagabonds gang quest.
