Far Cry 4: Rescue the captives

You meet mission givers in hideouts.

You receives the missions from civilians that you find in the fortresses and outposts that you liberate. At the beginning, when the opponents are weak, you will be doing well equipped with the bow only. Later into the game, it is a good idea to get the skill that allows you to perform stealthy takedowns, a suppressed sniper rifle and a grenade launcher, just in case.

The farther into the game, the more enemies you encounter.

Your mission is to rescue, at least, two of the four tied up hostages. They are being guarded by the opponents. They may be of various kinds, sometimes they are regular soldiers, but later into the game they get stronger (also heavy opponents and snipers appear). You need to eliminate all of them silently, or at least most of them. If you are spotted, the guards quickly execute the hostages.

A good vantage point is the most important thing.

The exception is a situation, when you are spotted by the last one, or two, guards - if you eliminate them quickly, no one will be harmed. Therefore, it is a good idea to leave for the one those of the guards, that are the most difficult to sneak up to. In case you are detected, you still have some time to rescue the captives. After the fight, untie them and receive your reward.

Completing the game in 100% requires you to complete 14 such missions. Completing five unlocks a signature weapon - Cannon.
