Kinlaig is a new map in Farming Simulator 25 introduced in Highlands Fishing Expansion. This location is distinguished by its specific terrain and access to a large body of water, making it an ideal place to expand into a new branch of the economy - aquaculture.

What does Kinlaig look like?

Kinlaig is heavily inspired by the Scottish countryside. The area has numerous hills and rocky ridges. The available farmland is rather small, and the specific terrain makes them irregularly shaped. However, the abundance of available plots ensures that every farmer should find something suitable.

In the northwestern part of the map, there is a small town where most of the important shops and service points are located. The streets there are quite narrow, so be careful if you are traveling with a larger vehicle.

The northern part of Kinlaig also features the most important element of the map - a large bay. You can navigate the waters using boats, which you can purchase at the port.

The presence of a large body of water makes Kinlaig perfectly compatible with the new mechanics added in Highlands Fishing Expansion. So if you are planning a scenario where you focus on aquaculture and fish farming, the Scottish countryside should be your first choice.
