A standalone expansion for the well-received real-time strategy game entitled Ashes of the Singularity. It was developed by the independent studio Stardock Corporation. The DLC comes with two story campaigns that let us lead the Substrate faction and the PHC forces. Both parties, present in the vanilla game, received new units, a wider variety of buildings, and more items and machines that can be summoned from the orbit.

The game takes place in a not so distant future and has a retro-futuristic feel to it, inspired by the 80’s film and book representation of cyberpunk. We play as a hacker who has to break into well-protected computer systems in order to gather top secret data and sabotage them. The game has two primary aspects of gameplay. Missions themselves are presented in the form of a turn-based tactical game.
