Mobile re-edition of a classic jRPG game and conversion of the second part of Ys Chronicles I & II set, initially released on the PSP console. Its story is a direct continuation to the events of first game of the series, with us once again taking role of red-haired warrior named Adol Christian. This time he is snatched by the mysterious light and sent, together with the magical books of Ys, into a mysterious floating island that suffers from the attacks of demons. His task will be to reveal the reason behind those assaults and find a way to stop them. In terms of game mechanics, Ys Chronicles II isn’t much different from its predecessor, except for the ability to cast spells and transform into a demon, allowing us to talk with every opponent that would attack us otherwise.

Action, Hack'and'slash, Action Adventure, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, TPP, Warhammer 40,000.

A third-person action game by Pixel Hero Games (the developer of Spiral: Episode 1). The title focuses on Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn – one of the most iconic characters from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The plot is based on the first volume of the “Eisenhorn trilogy”, written by Dan Abnett, and depicts the initial period of the eponymous Inquisitor’s reign. Mechanically, Eisenhorn: XENOS resembles the Batman: Arkham and God of War series. The hero can use a wide variety of weapons – including both guns and a sword, which he uses most of the time. Combat consist of rhythmic attack combinations that are become increasingly stronger as long as you match the rhythm, which requires skills and good timing. Additionally, the protagonist can use tactical skills, such as temporary invisibility, psychic powers, and slow-motion inspired by the Fallout's V.A.T.S. system. In combat and when solving puzzles, Eisenhorn is accompanied by two other characters chosen by the player.

An old-school two-dimensional platformer with elements of stealth. It was created by Hopoo Games, a studio known for Risk of Rain. In the game, the player becomes an embodiment of death itself, coming to Earth to stop an undead invasion. Both the sides of the conflict are a bit unusual, because the Grim Reaper uses knives and firearms instead of a scythe, and as for the undead, they are overly watchful and intelligent - they can even wield pistols and rifles. Deadbolt puts large emphasis on stealth-action gameplay. The protagonist usually dies from a single hit, which forces the players to stay hidden and attack by surprise. This does not mean the game lacks dynamism, because it features a cover system that allows for a fairly effective exchange of fire. Therefore, each of the levels in the game can be completed in multiple ways, depending on the player's preferences.

Instead of sandbox freedom, the game offers a linear plotline and allows us to control two independent characters, who can cooperate to solve puzzles and avoid various traps. The game employs the same visual style as the original Shelter 2, although we observe game’s world from third-person perspective, and many features not present in the original title, like the ability to follow a trail using senses other than sight.

Another installment in the popular 3D fighting game series based on the best-selling Japanese comic books created by Eiichiro Oda. The title was co-developed by Namco Bandai Games and Spike Chunsoft studio – the creators of Danganronpa and the Conception series. The plot is not very sophisticated as it serves only as a pretext for the most famous One Piece fighters to engage in duels. The game includes all of the important characters from the original manga. What differentiates this title from series like Tekken is the fact that in One Piece: Burning Blood you can control a team of three fighters that can be switched during battles any time you want. Each character has its own set of moves as well as special attacks, called Logia Moves. The key to success is the correct choice of team members, creating a versatile mix of offensive and defensive abilities.

The sixth major installment of the cult jRPG series, launched back in 1993 on NES, released by Capcom after over 10-year-long break. The action of Breath of Fire 6 takes us to the fantasy land known from previous entries, a thousand years after a cataclysm that turned most of the world into a desert. Moreover, the civilization that was rebuilt by the survivors is threatened by a hostile nation called the Insidia Empire. After the protagonist’s village falls victim to the Empire’s attack, his task becomes to avenge his slain relatives and find a way to stop the enemy’s triumphant march. The gameplay mechanics are a combination of a classic jRPG with economic strategy game elements. Most of the time is therefore spent on exploration, undertaking quests, developing characters, and fighting real-time battles against numerous enemies. At the same time, we also have to take proper care of our village by erecting new buildings and gathering resources crucial to its development.

The general gameplay premises remain unchanged; Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa remains a turn-based strategy game that realistically recreates many aspects of skirmishes as well as the strategic activities accompanying them. Achieving this requires us to sow and harvest, and then invest the money we’ve earned into the farm’s development as well as new vehicles and devices. The title features over 50 fully licensed agricultural machines of various type that we can personally drive while working in the field. Compared to its predecessor, the game offers new sorts of crops, but the biggest novelty is the introduction of forests, along with a pretty big set of hardware for felling and processing trees.

A role-playing game based on a French series of audiobooks, Le Donjon de Naheulbeuk, distributed for free and adapted to a comic book series and board games. The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk is an effect of collaboration of an experienced publisher Microids and developer Artefacts Studio, known for Gods vs. Humans. The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk is set in a medieval-fantasy universe. The player commands a group of adventurers, hired by a mysterious person to enter the eponymous Dungeon of Naheulbeuk and retrieve the last of the incredibly precious Galdeulfeurh’s statuettes, which is an essential element of a dark prophecy. Gameplay mechanics are based on classic RPG rules, enriched with a tactical, turn-based combat system. Similarly to its audiobook original, a characteristic element of The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk is its light-hearted, humorous approach to some generic clichés. The game was co-developed by the creator of the original, John Lang, who oversaw the quality of script and dialogues.

A budget-style, complex simulator of a policeman's work. We play the role of a law enforcement officer in a small American town, facing a variety of challenges: from routine controls, through dynamic chases, to complex investigations against dangerous criminals. The creators were also tempted to imitate the private life of police officers: the money earned can be invested in home furnishings or a dream car.

Marvel Future Fight is an arcade RPG and a dungeon crawler mix developed by Netmarble. The game begins with Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D, sending the Marvel heroes a message from the future to warn them about the impending global cataclysm, caused by the collision of multiple alternative realities. Our job is to gather a party and stop the apocalypse. Marvel Future Fight offers a couple hundred missions where we have to fight hordes of enemies. We can play as superheroes (like Iron Man, Spider-Man or Hulk) or supervillains. Each of the available characters has its own unique skills and abilities, which we can level up during our adventures. Additionally, the game offers a multiplayer mode where we can face teams created by other players. Considering the game's plot, a battle between two versions of the same hero is well in the realm of possibility.

The third story DLC included in the Season Pass for the dark survival horror The Evil Within released in 2014. Just like the original game, the expansion is set in the ominous asylum in which a brutal massacre takes place. Interestingly, The Executioner tells the story from the perspective of an enemy of The Evil Within’s protagonist. This character, known as The Keeper, is a hideous monster with a safe in the place of his head and wielding a butcher’s axe – the incarnation of Sebastian’s innermost nightmares. This way the developers from Tango Gameworks (led by the father of the Resident Evil series, Shinji Mikami) enabled players to witness the game’s twisted plot from a different point of view. What is more, this solution also allowed them to turn gameplay rules by 180 degrees. Instead of running away and fighting various monsters, players themselves become the eponymous Executioner and brutally murder innocent victims. This shift is highlighted by changing the perspective from TPP to first-person.
