A sequel to a popular action-RPG with tower defense elements, originally released in 2011 as a debut game of indie developer Trendy Entertainment. In contrast to the first game, this one is based on the free-to-play business model, and offers two entirely different multiplayer modes. The first one is a traditional co-op, in which players of different skills and specializations join forces against waves of enemies of increasing difficulty. The other one is heavily inspired by MOBA games and focuses on competitive combat of two 5-person teams. Each team is tasked with destroying opponent’s turrets. The game introduces numerous technical upgrades, as well as new heroes and opponents. Both play modes share the same characters roster, and individual dungeons are connected by a common mini-world on the surface, where up to 24 players can be at the same time.

An isometric science fiction adventure game created by a South African indie developer The Brotherhood Games. The game is set in an abandoned research facility, where the main hero, John Maracheck, wakes up. Throughout the game the protagonist has to discover what happened in the facility and find his relatives. Easy to guess, seemingly empty laboratory hides loads of traps and dangers. Despite the unique perspective, at least for this genre, the game focuses on exploration, finding items, and solving puzzles; interestingly though, as a result of the player’s reckless actions, the hero may even die. The game features atmospheric artwork, kept in cool colors to underline the hero’s solitude. Gameplay is also accompanied by calm music that builds the atmosphere of isolation and emptiness.

A retro-inspired adventure-platform game developed by D-Pad Studios. The protagonist of Owlboy is Otus, an owl-boy from a flying village - Veille. One day, when the village is invaded by sky pirates, our protagonist embarks on a dangerous adventure that will be full of exploration of intriguing locations and battling increasingly difficult opponents. When it comes to mechanics, the title is reminiscent of classic platform games, and during the gameplay we traverse vast areas, fighting or completing various main and side tasks. What sets Owlboy apart from other games of the genre is the fact that our hero can fly, which greatly facilitates completing of platforming sections. During the gameplay, Otus can pick-up and throw various items, and as the time passes, acquires many new skills and useful artifacts. He can also employ the help of an allied marksman, and use him as mobile turret, helping in the elimination of opponents.

In search for the lost champion of the Legion, our heroes end up on the Aranoi desert. In almost no time it is revealed that the desert is full of secrets like the legendary treasure of the Azunite faith hidden in the forgotten abbey. The expansion introduces new offensive, defensive, and healing skills, and allows the players to retrieve skill points spent on specialization and talents in order to reuse them. We will encounter new types of enemies and gather new pieces of equipment. We can also modify our armors with the help of magical potions that we will get by transmuting items. Treasures of the Sun increases the level cap to 35.
