A simple, two-dimensional action game for mobile devices. It was developed by the Polish developer Michal Walaszczyk. In Tap Hero the player assumes the role of a knight who must stay alive for as long as possible. The problem is, the protagonist cannot move. He must keep repelling the enemy forces while standing in one place. The enemies are constantly coming from the left and from the right and the player must swing the sword by taping one or the other side of the screen. The simple mechanic is very challenging and even a moment of hesitation can lead to failure. However, filling a special bar enables the player to perform a powerful attack that wipes out all enemies on the screen. The title has nice, 8-bit graphics style with various effects.

Strategy, World War II, Internet, Multiplayer, RTS, Singleplayer, War Strategy, Tactics.

Another military strategy game in the publishing catalogue of Paradox Interactive, this one developed by the French studio Eugen Systems. Steel Division: Normandy 44 draws much inspiration from the Wargame series created earlier by the same developer, letting players take part in fights over Normandy in 1944. The game features playable armies of such nations as Nazi Germany, the United States, France, Canada, England, Scotland, and Poland. Steel Division: Normandy 44 puts much emphasis on realism, therefore real-time battles are split into three phases, which correspond to actual WWII skirmishes. While moving from one stage of battle to another you get access to new types of units, of which there are now 400 in the game, all based on historical data. Infantry, tanks and support vehicles are also aided by airplanes. Devising a proper tactic serves a key role in the game – the most important things you must consider are the landscape and morale of your soldiers. Too much stress reduces the combat effectiveness of your men and can even make them flee in panic. Steel Division: Normandy 44 lets you play either solo (throughout the campaign) or in multiplayer – up to twenty players can play together in online battles.

UnDungeon is an original mixture of roguelike and action-adventure games. It was developed by Laughing Machines, a three-person indie studio. The game takes us to a fantasy multiverse made of seven parallel dimensions. As a result of a mysterious cataclysm, all of them were combined into a single ruined world. Some time after those dramatic events, seven heroes showed up. All of them were equipped with a so called Core, an artifact that makes them immortal and allows them to undo the cataclysm. They are the game's protagonists. Before we begin our adventures, we have to choose one of them, taking under consideration their individual stats, skills, and abilities. We observe the game from an isometric perspective. We will explore the game's world and face enemies in real-time combat. In UnDungeon, we do not level up by gaining experience but by collecting more and more artifacts that increase our battle abilities. We will talk with many NPCs, and the decisions we make during our adventures will impact the game's ending. The game has 2D pixel-art visuals.

Unlike Ethan Winters – the main protagonist of the base game – the new character is a well-trained soldier, who has a modern arsenal at his disposal. This time around, the gameplay does not revolve around sneaking past enemies; on the contrary, the player gets to fight the enemies with all guns blazing (the expansion introduces a new type of monster). Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is an action RPG developed by Chinese developer team Dark Star Games. The game enables the player to assume the role of an amnesiac knight who travels through a dark fantasy realm in search for a way to regain his memory and find redemption. The action is presented from a third-person perspective and the gameplay focuses on exploration and combat. The battle system is highly action-based and very hard to master – it requires the player to analyze opponent’s movement and find weaknesses in their defenses. The player dies frequently, but each death is an opportunity to learn the gameplay mechanics and to have greater chances for victory during the next attempt. A unique trait is the necessity to sacrifice one of the statistics before each boss fight. Because of that, as the game progresses, the player’s character becomes weaker, instead of growing in strength like in typical role-playing games. Because of that, the player must use their own skills to make up for weaknesses of the main character.

Besides the standard versions of those games the collection also includes all DLCs that were released for them – including the content-rich Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto, released in 2017. The oldest games that are included in this collection come with improved graphics. All games in the collection are traditional fighting games where the core of gameplay is to have fights between the titular ninja warriors. Each of the characters have their own fighting style and many unique special attacks. Besides having a story mode, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy also offers various multiplayer options that allows to play through the Internet or in a split-screen mode.

Adventure, Experimental/artistic, FPP, Horror, Indie Games, Meta Quest / Oculus, PlayStation VR, Singleplayer, SteamVR, Survival Horror, VR.

A first-person action thriller from an indie developer, offering support for VR headsets. Stifled bases the exploration mechanics on the original concept of use of echolocation – as they spread, sound waves reveal the layout of rooms and shapes of objects around you. Sounds can be made not only by the protagonist and some environmental objects, but also by the player themselves, using a microphone. However, you must be cautious, because the darkness hides monsters taken straight from a nightmare, which actively hunt the protagonist. In order to survive he sometimes has to grope in the dark, so to avoid detection by dangerous creatures. On the other hand, you can use noises to distract enemies, making it possible for you to sneak past them unnoticed. Stifled combines 3D environments with vector graphics in an original way. Although most of the time you only see the contour of environments, from time to time you also visit realistically designed locations.

Action, FPP, Horror, Indie Games, Singleplayer.

An action-adventure game in the form of a survival horror, created by TheMeatly Games - an independent Canadian developer. The game was divided into episodes to be released on a regular basis - the first of them can be tried out for free. Henry, the game's protagonist, is a former employee of an animation studio who revisits his old workplace in response to an invitation he received from his previous boss. Once there, Henry discovers that his former employer has dabbled in occultism and disappeared in mysterious circumstances. Moreover, the place is haunted by the titular Bendy, one of the cartoon characters created by the studio - he became a living animation in a way that cannot be explained. The protagonist must discover the secrets of this place and find a way out. Bendy and the Ink Machine is played from the first-person view. The player explores the in-game environment and solves more and less complicated puzzles, including environmental ones. From time to time, the player also needs to hide from the enemies hunting the protagonist. All of this is complemented by high-quality graphics featuring an original art style, which brings cartoons from the first half of the twentieth century into mind.

A special edition of the fifth installment in the popular RPG series by Bethesda, created for VR headgear and motion controllers. The plot of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR does not differ from that in the original version of the game. The story takes place in a fantasy world, which is threatened by dragons, led by Alduin. You play as the last Dovahkiin, a human that can speak dragon language, which makes them the only one capable of stopping the oncoming apocalypse. In terms of technical aspects, the game is based on the Special Edition of the production and, compared to the original, features e.g. improved lighting, higher resolution textures, and previously unavailable visual effects. What changed most is the combat system: you aim by moving your head and attack by using motion controllers, transferring your moves onto your character.
