It is a slasher action-adventure game that reboots an old platform game franchise, popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s on the Amiga console. The game is set in a grim fantasy world called Karamoon, ruled by a cruel tyrant named Meletoth. The player becomes a warrior who tries to fight the armies of the tyrant and overthrow him. Gameplay is focused mainly on combat against hordes of enemies, employing a complex system of strikes and special attacks. The hero’s power lets him gain strength through drinking blood of defeated enemies, which gradually unlocks new, progressively more powerful attacks. Apart from the main story campaign, the developers prepared a Survival mode, in which you try to repel waves of enemies. While playing, you can get assistance from the souls of fallen players – they can aid you in combat or show the way to other locations.

An unusual logic game and a satirical take on the communism. It is the first commercial project from Lucas Pope. The story is set in a fictional socialist country named Arstotzka. The country was at war with the neighboring Kolechia for a few years, but now it is over. The city of Grestin has become a crucial point on the new border between the two countries. The player is put in the shoes of a new customs officer whose task will be to carry out border checks in order to neutralize potential smugglers, spies, and terrorists. Before giving someone permission to enter the country, the player not only has to check their papers and verify the data against a primitive database, but also order searches and inspections. Despite the simplicity of mechanics, the game features an extensive story campaign which ends in one of several alternative ways, depending on the player's choices.

Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon also includes user-friendly modding tools, which enable you to create your own missions.

A lighthearted, science-fiction arcade game that allows the player to assume the role of a cleaner on a space station. Viscera Cleanup Detail starts in a moment that would normally mean that the end credits are about to roll in any typical story. Instead, our hero enters the action moments after somebody got rid of an alien horde. As can be easily imagined, the station is littered with destroyed instruments and body parts of humans and aliens alike. Our task is to clean up the mess. The game makes us wash the blood from floors and walls, gather shells and body parts floating around the corridors, and remove destroyed items that block the passages. To be able to complete our task, we are equipped with futuristic versions of every-day cleaning utensils, such as mops or water buckets. Wipers require regular rinsing, while body parts have to be placed in special containers for biological waste, and then cremated. Virtual cleaning is a surprisingly engaging activity, and at the same it time proves to be difficult one, due to the physics engine that makes thrown items bounce off surfaces. If, for example, a cut hand didn’t land in the furnace, it will create stains on every surface it touches.

At the core of the gameplay is fighting the police, gangsters, and corporate agents. Mega Man Legacy Collection faithfully recreates the six games although not without introducing numerous enhancements such as slightly improved graphics, Challenge mode, online leaderboards, and a virtual museum that contains tons of information on individual installments of the series.

A continuation of the futuristic FPS horror developed by BadFly Interactive. The plot of Dead Effect 2 follows the events from the first installment – again you find yourself in the distant future on the deck of space ship ESS Meridian, the crew of which turned into bloodthirsty zombies. This time the player faces a much greater evil, that hides inside the vessel and threatens every survivor’s life and sanity. Compared to the first part of the game, mechanics of Dead Effect 2 are basically the same and again concentrate on ship exploration and fighting monsters. From time to time you come across logic puzzles and boss battles. Of course, the game introduces new locations, enemies, and additional types of customizable weapons. Moreover, each of the three playable characters can be developed with a variety cybernetic implants.

Another installment of the popular dancing game series by Ubisoft. In Just Dance 2016, the fun is about dancing to the hottest hits of pop music. Video clips with dancers showing us the moves are displayed on the screen and our task is to recreate the choreography as faithfully as possible. The biggest novelty of this installment is the introduction of the Just Dance Controller application, thanks to which all we need to play is a smartphone held in our hand. Moreover, the Just Dance Unlimited platform, which is a streaming service that lets us dance to the tracks it offers, debuted with the production. The game also received an updated song list; these include: Uptown Funk - Mark Ronson Ft. Bruno Mars, Born this Way - Lady Gaga, All About that Bass - Meghan Trainor, I Gotta Feeling - the Black Eyed Peas, Want to Want Me - Jason Derulo, and many other hits. A Japanese fantasy RPG based on the popular – especially in Japan – SaGa series, previously known as Final Fantasy Legend. The game has been developed by FuRyu supported by former Square Enix employees, who have been working on the original series. In the game, the player assumes the role of one of the seven heroes, who want to uncover the mysteries of the island of Avalon. The player is aided in this task by two companions selected from a group of NPCs. The Legend of Legacy delivers a nonlinear plot, which almost entirely depends on the player’s actions and decisions. The gameplay revolves around the exploration of the island, completing quests, i.a. in the city of Initium (which serves also as the main base and place of trade), and waging turn-based battles. In combat, the player can summon ghosts to the battlefield, from which he gains additional abilities. All the characters’ skills can be improved the same way as in the SaGa series - by using the already unlocked abilities. The player is bound to appreciate the game’s visuals, which combine 3D models with hand-drawn world textures.

A first-person perspective adventure game that combines elements of spy movies and horror. It is the first large game developed by the Polish studio Jujubee known mostly for its futuristic racing series Flashout. The story of the game focuses on the mysterious disaster of the Russian submarine K-141 Kursk which sank during the summer of 2000 on the Barents Sea. It was never determined what caused the incident. The player’s objective in the game is to discover what actually happened on the submarine and caused the death of more than one hundred members of the crew. The gameplay mechanics are similar to Alien: Isolation and the game focuses mostly on storytelling. The game has many spy plots and horror elements. The mysterious history of the Kursk submarine and suggestive tone of the production makes it very atmospheric.

A racing game for mobile devices, developed by Aquiris Game Studio and inspired by the 16-bit classics of the genre such as the Lotus series, Outrun, and Top Gear. In Horizon Chase, the action is observed from a camera placed behind the car, and our task is to complete subsequent tracks as quickly as possible. We have several vehicles of various performance at our disposal. With them, we race on deserts, city outskirts, and motorways. The driving model is purely arcade, while the gameplay is very fast-paced. Visually, the developers combined the camera behavior and track design from classical two-dimensional racing games with fully three-dimensional objects in the form of angular, slightly textured models. The final result presents itself quite curiously — it blends modernity with clear references to the classics. The game features a soundtrack created by Barry Leitch who composed music for the several aforementioned productions.

During our adventures, we gather experience and level up, and increase our fighting strength by upgrading or finding new pieces of equipment.

The sixth official expansion to World of Warcraft, the famous MMORPG from Blizzard company. The plot picks up where it was left off in the previous add-on: after having escaped from Draenor, the Orc shaman Gul’dan found refuge on the Broken Isles, eventually opening the portal hidden in the Tomb of Sargeras and releasing the demon horde. Faced with another invasion of the Burning Legion, the already weakened Azeroth needs to rely on the players for help. Their task will be to stop Gul’dan before the forces of evil can triumph. The most crucial novelties introduced in the expansion are: the Order Hall, unique to your character class, where you gather an army of NPC followers, as well as artifacts, which come as rewards for completing a series of dangerous missions. Additionally, the game introduces some changes to the progression system (introduction of ranks), along with raising experience level cap to 110. Of course there are also new dungeons and raids.

After the mysterious death of his father, the prince of Pars is forced to flee for his life. His task is to reclaim power that is currently held by the neighboring superpower. The core of the gameplay comprises of exploration of vast locations divided into sectors and fighting hordes of enemies. The game features diversified heroes with unique fighting styles, weapons, and combat abilities. Apart from crowds of standard opponents that aren’t too challenging to defeat, every now and then we have to face bosses that require us to devise an appropriate tactic. The game features cel-shading graphics modeled after the TV series. The title also uses its soundtrack and spoken dialogues.

A retro style two-dimensional beat'em up game with RPG elements, and a continuation to the cult-classic production for NES released in 1989. The action takes place 25 years after the events from the original title – Alex and Ryan, the protagonists of the previous game, have graduated River City High, but Slick – one of the gang bosses defeated in the past – begins to pose a threat again; you fight as one of eight available characters in order to stop him, and all the other criminal organizations, one more time. The fundamental mechanics featured in the original have not been changed in the slightest. The game offers more than 100 hand-drawn levels with open structure, allowing us to upgrade the character and the equipment the course of the game. The gameplay basically consists of smashing consecutive opponents' faces and each playable character represents a different fighting style. River City Ransom: Underground features multiplayer that was absent from the original title.

Farming Simulator 15: Silver is an expansion designed for the seventh generation of consoles, namely PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and, in contrast to the next-gen consoles edition called Farming Simulator 15: Gold, its contents are a bit reduced. This add-on does not introduce any changes to mechanics. During the gameplay the player takes control of tractors, harvesters, and trucks produced by such manufacturers as Zetor, Tatra, Rostselmash, and Farmtech. In contrast to the Gold version, there are no new farming areas in Eastern Europe, yet the remaining elements from both DLCs are included, so players can make use of new equipment and 20 new farming machines.

The game’s main hero is a fencer named Fang, who encounters another representative of his profession – Tiara, a person obsessed with collecting all the furies she possibly can. Gameplay combines typical jRPGs elements with visual novel narrative and an elaborate combat system, in which characters move around battlefields freely, but take commands in turns. When compared with the original version of the game, Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force was expanded by the addition of two alternative story chapters, letting you see a brand new ending. Changes also include some elements of gameplay and combat system.

Gauntlet: Slayer Edition is a new incarnation of a dungeon crawler released on arcade machines in 1985. The players enter a fantasy world, and their task is to explore grim dungeons inhabited by dangerous monsters (giant spiders, armed skeletons), or even ghosts. We can choose from one of four heroes (Warrior, Valkyrie, Elf, and Wizard), different in terms of playstyle as well as powers and abilities. Aside from the single player mode, a multiplayer module has been introduced (online, as well as locally). Compared with the PC version, Gauntlet: Slayer Edition has better visuals, and more balanced gameplay.

Moto Racer 4 remains faithful to the premise of the classic installments, focusing on a dynamic racing experience with arcade physics and paying no attention to the so-called fair-play. The player participates in subsequent motorcycle competitions divided into off-road and asphalt variants. In the latter, aspects such as traffic or collisions with opponents were taken into account. Within these two divisions, the player will find a wide set of characters - each represents a unique riding style. The game offers more than a few different modes and the overall number of them is quite impressive. The game includes many bike models created specifically for particular competitions: from classic cross bikes to high-power beasts belonging to the superbike category. What's more, the game features an extensive customization component - both the bikes and riders can be customized.

A somewhat surrealistic FPP adventure game and a debut of Pixel Night studios, focusing on exploration and plot. The story of Empathy takes place in a collapsing world, where the few remaining cities were reduced to shelters for small human populations, and where life seems to be dying out. We explore the setting through the eyes of a child led by a mysterious spirit on their journey to return the order to this world. The protagonist will come across memories and feelings of the people of the past, which we must experience to solve puzzles and find the reason behind the calamity. What stands out the most in the game is its storytelling. We can play as any person whose memory we find, which lets us discover things we would miss otherwise. This creates a unique atmosphere, enhanced by suggestive visuals that were created with Unreal Engine 4.

An economic strategy game developed by Funatics and a spiritual successor to the once popular Cultures series. The game focuses on a Viking tribe whose members, after dying on the field of glory, find the gates of Valhalla closed shut. This turns out to be the result of a dispute between Odin and his son Leko, who failed his exam in godhood. As a result, he gets sent back to Earth, along with the souls of fallen Vikings, and the player must help them get back to Valhalla. While playing, you need to look after your tribe’s safety, protect them from wild beasts, as well as provide them with food and warm clothes. To this end, you have construct new production buildings and create thriving economy. Interestingly, the game does not give you direct control over your people. Instead, you have to influence their behavior by constructing appropriate buildings and encouraging them to engage in a particular activity.

A new installment of the annual series of motorbike racing simulators developed by Milestone, an Italian studio known from numerous racing games, including RIDE, WRC: FIA World Championship, or SBK: Superbike World Championship. A complex career mode enables us to create a driver and lead him through numerous stepping stones of a biker's career, including finding pit crews, searching for sponsors, as well as choosing a motorbike. Aside from that, we can modify our machines and the look of our rider through over a hundred accessories, bought using the virtual currency that is amassed during the game. Thanks to an agreement with FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix, the game contains authentic motorbikes, race tracks, sponsors, and body paints. When it comes to machines, we are offered 20 motorcycles from MotoGP, Moto 2, and Moto 3 engine capacity classes, as well as legacy two-stroke machines. Finally, the game contains a new mode – Beat the Time, in which the player has to beat the time record on the chosen track using a randomly chosen motorbike.

A TPP action game by TT Fusion, developed for Nintendo and Sony portable consoles, based on the popular LEGO building blocks series, whose main theme are the adventures of young ninja warriors. The story of LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin is connected to the previous installment in the series. After defeating the tyrant and his Nindroid minions, the five heroes have to face another threat, which is the eponymous Ronin leading the Army of Shadows. He also deprives the heroes of their abilities, so before they can confront him, they need to regain them. Mechanics-wise, LEGO Ninjago is a dynamic action game, in which you control one of the heroes and fight hordes of enemies, using fairly easy but spectacular combo attacks. You also visit various locations, both previously known and new, and use various vehicles and mounts.

Frontline Commando: WW2 is freemium shooter and a sequel to Frontline Commando: D-Day. It was developed by Glu Mobile. Campaign in Frontline Commando: WW2 consists of 180 challenges and begins with the Battle for Ardennes. We will also visit Germany and take part in some of the operations from the Italian campaign. There are two primary types of missions: Main missions and those that focus on certain battle tactics. When doing the latter ones, we will take part in typical pistol and rifle gunfights, sniper duels, we will use bazookas to destroy enemy tanks. We will be also disabling enemy artillery and using flamethrowers to roast our opponents. Battle in Frontline Commando: WW2 comes down to hiding behind covers and shooting in the right moment. As we play, we will collect in-game money which can be spend on weapon upgrades.

A video game based on Adventure Time, a popular animated TV show that aired on Cartoon Network, and developed by Vicious Cycle - the studio responsible for Madagascar 3: The Video Game and Ben 10 Omniverse. In the game, you follow the adventures of a boy named Finn and his magical dog Jake, who is able to freely change his shape and size at will. Following in the steps of Finn’s foster parents, the two become private detectives, whose services are quickly proven to be very desirable, as the realm's inhabitants begin to disappear without a trace. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, it is an adventure action game combining arcade elements with riddles. As you play, you get to explore new locations, talk to different characters, fight opponents, and solve logic puzzles. The audiovisuals successfully capture the style and atmosphere of the original TV show.

It is the second installment in a jRPG series - Project X Zone, published in 2012, in which players lead a team of characters from several popular franchises created by SEGA, Capcom, and Namco Bandai, including Resident Evil, Tekken, Megaman X, Devil May Cry, and Sakura Wars. The story features a fictional world combining token locations and buildings from the aforementioned games. Furthermore, players have a few hundreds unique characters at their disposal, ready to be added to the team. The gameplay is divided into two segments – the first one is presented in an isometric view and involves world exploration aimed at searching for suitable items and characters, it employs a turn-based system and each move on the world map requires a particular number of action points. When facing an opponent, however, the player is taken to a battlefield to control two characters and summon a third one to perform a special attack.

An retro-stylized action adventure game with survival elements, developed by the Rocket Games studio. In Death Road to Canada the player's task is to travel the eponymous route from Florida to the city of Ontario in Canada and to survive the hordes of zombies attacking us along the way. In the game we control a team of up to five characters (human or animal), each of which has its own unique virtues and vices. Therefore, apart from having to search for other survivors, constantly gather supplies, and eliminate subsequent hosts of living dead, an extremely important element of the game is ensuring that our group members won't quarrel with each other. Gameplay is undoubtedly more attractive due to the fact that almost all of its elements are randomly generated, so each time we start the game a different story awaits us. The game features old-fashioned pixel graphics, reminiscent of the classic arcade hits.

A simple arcade endless runner game by indie studio Snowman. The protagonist is a llama shepherd. When the animals scatter across the area, he has to catch them all. During the game you ride a snowboard on procedurally generated hills — the character move forward automatically and your task is to avoid obstacles on the snowy route, perform acrobatics (which give you additional points), and escape the angry enemies, whose sleep you interrupt. There are also simple challenges to complete, which earn you extra gadgets and allow you to unlock five bonus characters. The game features pleasant simple visuals, well-done animations, very good physics, day and night cycle and dynamic weather.

A spin-off to the bestselling Batman game series that started in 2009 and is expanded ever since by Warner Bros. This installment is a mobile strategy game in which the player faces the Dark Knight himself and other law enforcers in Gotham city while trying to transform the metropolis into an actual criminal den. During the game the player assumes the role of a mafia boss who intends to become the king of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. As the game progress, the player is building and improving hideouts, recruiting new criminals and disciplining them so that they follow his orders. Due to player’s actions, the city becomes closer and closer to becoming the most dangerous place in the world. Supervillains known from the Batman universe help the player achieve his goals. Among them there are Harley Quinn, the Riddler and Killer Croc. What’s interesting, if the player’s criminal empire becomes large enough, he has the possibility to eliminate Batman himself.
