A reboot of a classic 1994 fighting game whose main protagonist is a former NBA player, Shaquille O'Neal. The new version was created by Big Deez Productions and contrary to the original game (which had as many supporters as it had opponents back in the 90s), Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is a modern-day fighting game, which combines elements of such classics as Streets of Rage or Street Fighter with features of 3D action games, such as Devil May Cry. Again, the player assumes the role of a muscular basketballer who traverses diverse locations and fights various enemies, as well as powerful bosses. In combat, Shaq makes use of a set of techniques, punches, combos and power-ups. What is also helpful in eliminating the opponents, is the presence of destructible environments and different weapons. As the game progresses, the protagonist develops their skills in order to face more and more powerful enemies, and eventually, the mysterious Black Star Ninja.

A several-hours long story DLC included in the Season Pass to the action game Batman: Arkham Origins released in 2013. Just like the original game, the expansion was developed by WB Games Montreal. The story of Cold, Cold Heart features Batman’s trying to stop Mr. Freeze — one of the super villains from the original comic books — whose actions threaten lives of guests at the New Year’s Eve "Humanitarian of the Year" gala. In terms of gameplay, Cold, Cold Heart copies the mechanics used in Batman: Arkham Origins, therefore we get to freely traverse open locations, solve environmental puzzles, sneak into guarded rooms, and fight powerful opponents using high-tech gadgets. A novelty introduced in the expansion is the new version of Batman’s suit that enables the hero to operate under extremely low temperatures. In order to enjoy the contents of Cold, Cold Heart you have to have the original game installed. As for the graphics, DLC uses the same technology as Batman: Arkham Origin, that is Unreal Engine 3.

A debut project from Grim Bros studio. Dragon Fin Soup is a turn-based RPG influenced by the Japanese variations of the genre. The plot takes place in a fantasy world, located on top of an enormous turtle-dragon called Asura. During the gameplay, we assume the role of an alcohol-adoring heroine named Robin, who is a twisted and adult version of Red Riding Hood. The protagonist had lost her memory a year earlier, with the players helping her retrieve her lost memories. Dragon Fin Soup offers two game modes: story campaign and survival, in the latter we begin the game in the middle of the woods, and our goal is to break through consecutive, increasingly difficult locations and dungeons. The game incorporates a turn-based combat system with a lot of tactical depth, including, among others, different types of damage dealt by different weapons and spells. The gameplay is diversified by logic puzzles and arcade mini-games.

Developed by the debuting independent studio Storm in a Teacup, an unusual first-person adventure game, the visuals of which are strongly connected with the plot and mechanics. The action of N.E.R.O. takes place in a surreal world that is projected in a little boy’s mind. The uniqueness of the title comes from omnipresent bioluminescence – dark sceneries are lighted up by bright, phosphorescent objects that at the same time serve as a kind of road signs. Mechanically, to some extent the game resembles the cult Myst series and the core of the game is exploration and solving puzzles that use different aspects of light and time. With the progress, you gradually find out the purpose of the hero’s adventure and depending on your choices, which can emphasize such values as love and devotion, you reach one of a few alternative endings of the story.

What Remains of Edith Finch is a unique adventure game developed by Giant Sparrow, which focuses on the evanescence of life. The game tells a set of short stories about the fate of the members of a certain American family that has been cursed. The history told in those episodes takes place over a span of one hundred years in Washington state, a place filled with forests and mountains, a location that resembles a little the cult TV show Twin Peaks. In terms of gameplay mechanics, What Remains of Edith Finch is your typical first-person adventure game. The climate and gameplay mechanics change depending on which family member we are currently controlling. What connects every story told in the game is the fact that in each and every one of them our protagonist dies. Another common ground between them is the titular character of Edith, who tries to discover her family's dark secret and find out why she is the only surviving member.

The background colors are constantly changing, and a different color may mean that, for example, a bridge was removed, or a new platform was spawned. The pace of the gameplay forces the players to stay alert if they want to reach the finish line as a winner. Our avatars can jump, climb, run, as well as harass other participants. Aside from the main course, Runbow also contains a few different modes, including Arena, where the players are pushing each other into the abyss, or ColourMaster, in which one person decides on the action that has to be repeated by other players. What warns you against the nearby threats is the visualization of the girl's heartbeat — the closer a ghost is, the faster your heart rate. The game also features logic puzzles. You should also gather coins, which you can use to buy favors from the local deities in temples. Despite the 2D visuals, resembling Japanese anime, they create a truly frightening atmosphere thanks to the subdued colors and the designs of the wraiths.

An old-school logic game featuring elements of adventure and platformer games. This is the debut of the Triple Eh? studio led by Gareth Noyce. Lumo pays tribute to various games from the 80s and 90s. The gameplay consists of exploring over 400 different chambers, where the player mainly solves puzzles, avoids traps and discovers secrets. The game is played from the classic isometric view, and the player observes only a section of the location they are visiting at a given time - it can be a platform, a room or a corridor suspended in mid-air. It is relatively difficult to make progress in the game. Despite the fact that Lumo makes numerous references to the classics of the genre, it offers modern-day visuals with impressive lighting effects and high-definition textures.

A spectacular sport simulator of an extreme version of golf. Developed by Three Fields Entertainment, studio founded by former members of Criterion Software (responsible for the Burnout series and a few installments in the Need for Speed franchise), mechanics-wise, the title combines elements of the aforementioned Burnout, a shooter game, Black, and a classic basketball arcade game, NBA Jam. Your objective does not revolve only around scoring, but also around the most effective destruction of your surroundings using the ball that bounces off various surfaces and objects, can speed up, or catch fire and spread it all around. The action takes place in rather unusual locations, like a gas station, a hotel kitchen, and a palace ballroom. In the course of the game you collect points and money that can be spent on your golfer’s technique development and unlocking new shots and tricks.

Developed by an independent studio Pixel Blast, a mobile platformer classified as an endless runner. The main hero is a boy who lives in a world oppressed by cruel robots. He is the only one who can stop the tyranny of the machines. The early stages of Super Powerboy strongly resemble typical endless runners – the speeding protagonist can jump, slide, thus avoiding obstacles and enemies. As you level up, you unlock another elements of the hero’s special suit, which grants him special powers – e.g. shoes that allow him to reach places otherwise impossible to reach, a blaster he shoot robots with, a strengthened armor and shield that can protect the boy from bullets.

A futuristic racing game developed by Caged Element and a spiritual successor to the once-popular Rollcage series. GRIP takes us to an unspecified period in the future and focuses on brutal racing tournaments of well-armored vehicles; the tradition stems from illegal city racing that was popular in early 21st century. As the sport grew more and more popular the number of modifications in racing cars constantly increased, which translated into significantly better performance for the price of taking incredible risks. In the wake of numerous unsuccessful attempts to eradicate the brutal sport, the authorities eventually admitted their defeat and accepted it as an official sports discipline along with its TV broadcasts. The rules are incredibly simple: the players’ task is to reach the finish line as quickly as possible and preferably in one piece. What differentiates GRIP from traditional racing games is the unique construction of the cars that allows them to drive on nearly all surfaces, including ceilings.

Crush Your Enemies invites you to a magical world of Generia, inhabited by brave knights, noble elves, and likeable dwarves. You are the leader of evil barbarians, who have decided to invade Generia and brutally reduce the number of its inhabitants. This seemingly morbid theme is seasoned with a big dose of humor – the game makes fun of classic fantasy settings and pompous tropes. Crush Your Enemies offers traditional real-time strategy mechanics; you manage your resources, lead units, and conquer enemy territory. However, the game features much faster pace than other games of this genre. The production in enriched by equipment system and boss fights. Crush Your Enemies offers an extensive campaign along with a cross-platform multiplayer.

Developed by the Italian Naps Team studio, a WWII action-adventure air combat game. The plot of Iron Wings follows the story of the US 332nd Fighter Group, which was composed solely of black pilots. Jack and his childhood friend Amelia are the main heroes. The story revolves around general Adler’s ominous plan to secure the Third Reich’s victory. The mechanics are purely arcade and missions are abundant in main and side objectives. Interestingly, there are always two characters in the air, each in a separate airplane. The player can easily switch between them and, while piloting one plane, command the other, controlled by AI. From time to time, you can step outside the cockpit and take part in special shooter sequences.
