Developed by Owlchemy Labs, a humorous simulation game designed with Augmented Reality in mind. This title can be classified as a joke sim, similar to Surgeon Simulator, I Am Bread, or Probably Archery. The game is set in the year 2050, when most humans’ tasks were handed down to specialized machines. In order to remind humanity that their ancestors used to work like this, a special simulation program was created to teach people of the future what true work used to mean. The game has no specific goals. As you play you pursue certain occupations, such as chef, shopkeeper, or office worker, allowing you to manipulate the objects around you. However, using them in the proper, intended way is not so easy, as the over the top physics make even the simplest actions challenging and hilarious at the same.

In opposition to its predecessor, which was a typical point-and-click adventure game, Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus is a two-dimensional action-adventure game with numerous platforming and RPG elements that create a metroidvania-like experience. The player is tasked with exploring complex maze-like levels that contain both action sequences as well as demanding riddles. The third story DLC included in the Season Pass for the dark survival horror The Evil Within released in 2014. Just like the original game, the expansion is set in the ominous asylum in which a brutal massacre takes place. Interestingly, The Executioner tells the story from the perspective of an enemy of The Evil Within’s protagonist. This character, known as The Keeper, is a hideous monster with a safe in the place of his head and wielding a butcher’s axe – the incarnation of Sebastian’s innermost nightmares. This way the developers from Tango Gameworks (led by the father of the Resident Evil series, Shinji Mikami) enabled players to witness the game’s twisted plot from a different point of view. What is more, this solution also allowed them to turn gameplay rules by 180 degrees. Instead of running away and fighting various monsters, players themselves become the eponymous Executioner and brutally murder innocent victims. This shift is highlighted by changing the perspective from TPP to first-person.

The campaign consists of over a hundred challenges which involve very simple and quick jobs as well as high-risk missions. There are three aircraft at the player’s disposal, each different in terms of performance and appearance. The money we earn are spent on fuel, repairs, and modifications that increase our airplane’s capabilities and, by extension, our chance of succeeding in subsequent missions. The flight model used in the game isn’t too challenging – the developers decided to make a sort of compromise, thanks to which beginner gamers can also enjoy the game.

Arcade, 2D, Polish, Singleplayer, Free-to-play.

A simple arcade game from the independent Polish studio Digital Melody. Player takes control of a helicopter and is involved in dangerous rescue missions, helping people who got stuck e.g. on mountain peaks, lighthouses and roofs of railway carriages. Each task must be performed without damaging the machine, avoiding collisions with one of many obstacles, which isn’t easy because of simple controls, preventing any precisions when flying. Aside from a classic campaign consisting of 50 stages, Risky Rescue features an endless mode in the form of a peculiar time race. It is worth going through it though, as the faster we complete each challenge, the more money we earn, which can be used to buy new, better helicopters. Visuals are two-dimensional and rather simple, but pleasant to look at.

The Quest Keeper is a free-to-play dungeon crawler developed by the creators of the grotesque arcade game Jungle Moose. In The Quest Keeper we play as an adventurer who decides to complete ten legendary quests. The game is visibly inspired by Crossy Road, not only in terms of voxel-based visuals and isometric perspective, but also when it comes to gameplay mechanics. Our character moves automatically, but unlike in Crossy Road, we move around the entire locations in the direction chosen by the player. Gameplay focuses on map exploration and avoidance of the traps located there. There are many types of traps we will encounter: drops and trapdoors, hordes of spiders, flying axes, blades and spikes erupting from the ground, and skeletons with bows. The extent of obstacles we will have to fave depends on the chosen map and on how far we managed to go. It is important to make sure we get to treasure chests. Gold which we get from them we can use to buy better equipment and special items that will make our adventures a bit easier.

Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions is a mobile and browser platform game based on the Star Wars Rebels animated TV series. The game takes place between the third and fourth episode of the movie saga. While the evil Empire hunts down what was left from the Jedi order, a Rebelion starts to grow. Gameplay in Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions combines elements of platform games and economic strategies. During our adventures we play as a Jedi Knight and explore various locations, collect items, and fight with the encountered enemies. Being a member of the Order gives us access to a lightsaber and various force powers. With them, we will be able to deal not only with stormtroopers, but also walkers, fighters, and powerful bosses. We can come back to our base to upgrade and decorate it between the missions. It will give us not only bonuses during our adventures, but also help us discover hidden rooms where interesting information can be found. On July 28 2016, less than a year after launch, Disney Interactive Studios shut down the game's servers.

The third installment in a mobile city builder game series by Dutch studio Sparkling Society. Once again, you play as a mayor, whose task is to develop and insular city. You mostly erect various buildings, from houses that affect the population, through commercial objects that give them jobs, to public facilities and decorations that improve the citizens' moods. To succeed, you need to achieve the balance between those three aspects of the gameplay. If you need help, you can ask a virtual adviser, who will suggest which building should be erected next. The biggest novelty in City Island 3 is the possibility to manage a whole archipelago — as the game progresses, you unlock more islands, varying in terms of appearance and topography. Like the previous games created by the studio, City Island 3 utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
