A fantasy video game in which you play as a character of your choice, and your task varies depending on the game mode. In the expansive story mode, you complete missions, explore randomly generated dungeons, gather useful items and fight enemies. In the online multiplayer mode, you need to eliminate other players in one of the four sub-modes: Assassination, Head Hunter, Random Assassination, and Escape. During your turn, you can commit five various actions; you have two minutes for that, which calls for quick and creative thinking. To succeed, you need luck and a sense of strategy, which can help you outsmart your opponents. The Living Dungeon features very high-quality visuals — the game faithfully recreates figurines, moving around a fully-3D map. Curiously, there are two graphic styles to choose from: a dark fantasy one and a less grim one, resembling a tavern game.

Just like the first installment, Space Marshals 2 is an episodic game developed by Swedish mobile game developer Pixelbite (creators of the Reckless Racing series and Xenowerk shooter). The player once again becomes a space marshal who takes on numerous dangerous criminals. In terms of gameplay mechanics, the sequel is very similar to its predecessor. Therefore, we get a top-down shooter enriched by multiple tactical options. In order to clear the levels from various opponents the hero has to sneak, silently kill unaware enemies, and use cover. When it comes to open combat, he can use a wide arsenal of fire weapons and lethal gadgets (e.g. grenades). From time to time, the protagonist also fights with powerful bosses – winning against them usually requires adopting the right tactic. Space Marshals 2 is played on a variety of levels whose setting can be described as a technologically advanced version of the Wild West.

Players have to discover the mysteries of the town, overthrow the council ruling it, and stop an incoming invasion. We can start with a completely new character or import our hero from the first game to explore the world and talk with characters, making decisions that affect the plot. Interestingly, depending on our personal feelings, the town’s inhabitants might not necessarily deserve saving, and their fate is mostly in our hands. The key features of the first Sorcery! are obviously present, including the original character development system and the unusual battle system that chooses the actions available to us depending on our play style.

As a result, we don’t control the direction where our character is headed – all we have to do is to mark groups of elements appearing on the screen, which explode, generating various audio-visual effects. The abstract visuals, characteristic of the original title, have been adapted to modern standards.

A game created by Dawid Szymanski, an indie developer, in collaboration with New Blood Interactive. The game represents the action genre and was inspired by the classic games that came out in the 90s. The plot in DUSK is only an excuse for flashy and brutal gameplay, and during the game we have to face hordes of enemies with supernatural abilities. The levels are diverse: we can choose from a modern city infrastructure, through churches, to dark undergrounds. We also have access to various weapons such as pistols, machine guns or grenade launchers, but we can also use sickles and crossbows. Besides the campaign, we can also play in a competitive multiplayer and Endless Survival Mode, in which we have to face subsequent hordes of enemies. The graphics aren't that impressive as they clearly refer to the aforementioned classic games.

A game developed by an indie studio, ThroughLine Games, that combines elements of point-and-click and platform games. In Forgotten Anne the players step into a fantasy world of Forgotten Lands, inhabited by creatures that were created out of abandoned everyday objects. When a rebellion rises, our main heroine, who works as an enforcer, needs to stop the riots and bring back the balance and peace. Her master, Bonku, aids the girl in this quest. The action is presented from a side perspective. The gameplay mechanic, which the game borrows from the platformer genre, is the character movement, which means that we need to climb and jump on platforms. The plot and puzzles are the game's most interesting features during world exploration. The girl can use the help of a mysterious stone, Arca, to solve those puzzles. The stone has an ability that allows it to control both living creatures as well as machines. Everything is presented in visually attractive cartoonish graphics, resembling the visual style employed by studio Ghibli.

An arcade racing game which lets us take part in illegal street races in Japan, developed by independent JDM4iK studio. As its title suggests, Drift Street Japan focuses on the drift – a driving technique of performing a controlled oversteer for as long as possible. The players must collect points for drift by doing long and eye-catching slides, making turns close to obstacles or rapidly changing direction. This is varied by the presence of drag-type races for 1/4 of a mile, as well as typical racing competitions. Available cars include such brands as Nissan, Toyota or Mazda, each with different look, driving style and performance. There are also many tuning options, both visual and mechanical.

A remake of the two-dimensional platform game released in 1986. The new version was developed by Korean studio CFK. The player assumes the role of the titular Wonder Boy – a caveman whose girlfriend was kidnapped by the Dark King. The protagonist attempts to rescue Tina while trying to take care of the villain. The gameplay of Wonder Boy Returns features traveling through various levels, jumping between platforms and fighting enemies like bees, spiders and penguins. From time to time the player faces bosses as well. In the eggs scattered across the levels the player can find power-ups that gives the protagonist new abilities (such as temporary invincibility) and weapons. In comparison to the original, the game has much richer graphics – the character models and environment textures were upgraded and the title received additional animations and light effects that accompany some of the attacks.

Magic Rush: Heroes is a free-to-play mobile tower defense strategy game with RPG elements developed by the creators of Age of Kings: Skyward Battle, Clash of Spartan, and Age of Warring Empire. The game has optional microtransactions. In Magic Rush: Heroes we lead a group of heroes who eliminate enemies that try to get past them, much like in tower defense games. It is up to us to target the opponents and choose whether our heroes should attack, use a special ability, or a healing spell. The game has typical RPG elements where we have to power up our characters' skill or equip them with more powerful items. Improve your Kingdom, take care of its technological development, create an army and send it to gather resources. In Magic Rush: Heroes we can face both A.I. controlled opponents and other players. PvP battles are part of the world tournament where players fight for precious rewards during the seasons.

A story expansion to Stellaris – a space real-time strategy game developed by Paradox Development. The greatest novelty in comparison to the base version of the game is a story campaign titled “War in Heaven” in which the player participates in a conflict between the Fallen Empires. DLC doesn’t introduce any revolutionary changes to the gameplay premise known from the original game, but it does introduce a new race – the so-called Guardians – and Enclaves, independent facilities in which the player can trade resources and obtain information about the current situation in the game world. Stellaris: Leviathans uses the technology developed for the base game and its graphics are of same quality. However, the developers decided to implement new music themes that accompany the player during the game.

Another free-to-play game developed by the creator of Agar.io – a minimalistic action game developed for mobile devices and Internet browsers. In contrast to its predecessor, in Diep.io the player doesn’t control a ball, but a small tank in which he fights other players over points. The vehicle can move in all directions and the cannon is controlled independently from the rest of the machine. The gameplay focuses on sending missiles at colorful figures appearing on the map. Destroying them is awarded with experience points used for upgrading the tank with health regeneration, increased projectile speed and greater power. It all becomes especially useful when fighting other players that are present on the same map. Except for obtaining the highest possible score and staying alive for as long as possible, the game doesn’t have any additional objectives. The visuals of Diep.io are minimalistic – the tanks are simply colorful balls with rectangle cannons and the map looks like a piece of paper from a notebook.

A stand-alone expansion to Sorcerer King, a turn-based 4x strategy. Similarly to the basic version, the expansion was created by Stardock Corporation. This time, the players assume the role of a mortal ruler whose goal is to achieve immortality. Sorcerer King: Rivals introduces two new factions (King Bazzar’s dwarves, and necromancers, led by Archmage Velemor), each with their own technologies, spells, and troops. The expansion marks the return of the Sorcerer King, who recruited three new lieutenants. As a result, the enemy armies can use up to five commanders, with two of them randomly chosen by the game before the beginning. Additionally, new items and resources are waiting to be discovered, as well as bonus content created using newly-implemented mission editor. The expansion can also be bought as a cheaper DLC.

A third-person perspective survival horror inspired by console productions of this genre. The action of From Beneath takes place in a town called Cedar Heights, which mysteriously turns into a living hell. The campaign tells a story of seven independent characters who have to fight for their survival. Mechanically, From Beneath is an action-adventure game with the camera hanging behind the character’s back. Each hero is different, but none of them was born a warrior. Therefore, battles pose a significant challenge and each bullet is precious. Usually, it is best to simply sneak behind enemies’ backs, stay in the shadows, and distract opponents in numerous ways. Gameplay is complemented by logic puzzles. The narration depends on the hero you are in control of – the title does not allow switching between the characters. From Beneath offers large locations, decent 3D visuals, and a professional voiceover.

Another expansion for the MMO racing game by Ivory Tower. It features a mini-campaign consisting of 12 missions, in which you can play as the other side — the policemen. The gameplay consists of dynamic and spectacular pursuits, and you can now use previously unavailable gadgets and abilities. The policemen can use electromagnetic charges and call for air support, while the other participants use flash grenades and infinite nitro. Moreover, The Crew: Calling All Units adds new vehicles, which you can mod to make them into police cars. Curiously, you can choose the police side in the base game too, but to drive a police vehicle, you need the expansion.
