NHL 18 is another installment in the sports game series developed by EA Sports – a division of Electronic Arts. The gameplay revolves around the same mechanics as the previous installments, trying to faithfully represent ice hockey games; however, the developers implemented some major changes. One of them is the Defensive Skill Stick system, ensuring better control over a player and the hockey stick during defensive maneuvers. Opponents have a wider range of available moves making the game smoother. Also, the AI poses a bigger challenge – from now on, our teammates are better at taking positions and defensive actions, while the AI players are more difficult to defeat. Moreover, NHL 18 introduces the 3 vs 3 mode with slightly different rules – with fewer players on the field, one has more space to execute maneuvers on the ice. The game also allows us to play more conventional modes, such as PvP and both local and online co-op.

We get: DC 401, HR 4004, PERFORMER 4000, DISCOLANDER XM 52 cultivators; ESPRO 3000, TF 1500, BTF 4000, PLANTER 3 R 12 planters; PF 1500, DELTIS 1302 MEA3, METRIS 4102 sprayers; AXIS 40.2 M-EMC-W fertilizer spreader, GMD 4411 mower, GF 8702 tedder, MERGE MAXX 902 hay rake, and bale wrappers, such as SW 4014, LSB 1290 D, and FBP 3135. After downloading the DLC, its contents are available in the in-game store and have to be purchased for the in-game currency. Farming Simulator 17: Kuhn uses the same game engine as the series’ previous installments, but was tweaked here and there to make the new machines look better.

The players have access to various game styles, while our score depends also on preparations to a match. The creators of Tennis World Tour also put a lot of attention into ensuring realism.

Each chapter of the game is filled with secrets that simply wait to be found. Visuals in The Mummy Dark Universe Stories are unique and, in terms of style, resemble modern comic books.

Metroid: Samus Returns is a remastered and thoroughly remodeled version of Metroid II: Samus Returns, which was originally released on Game Boy in 1991. The modern version was developed by MercuryStream Entertainment, creators of games like the well-received Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. As the title may suggest, Samus Aran, an intergalactic bounty hunter who fights with space pirates, is the protagonist here, just like in many other Metroid games. Action in the game is presented from a side-scrolling perspective. Gameplay focuses on exploration of various vast and nonlinear levels and elimination of the titular metroid creatures. As we progress, we gain access to new areas. Samus uses a wide range of Beams, futuristic cannons that fire energy bullets and beams. She also uses the unique abilities that her Space Jump suit grants her (she can jump higher when using it). Additionally, Samus can take alternative forms that will help her get to some normally inaccessible areas.

The title, developed by Wicked Witch Software, is a hybrid of sports and management simulations – while playing, we not only play matches but also take care of the team manager’s responsibilities. Our tasks include determining team composition and tactics, taking part in drafts and making transfers as well as negotiating contracts and balancing the club’s budget. There are over 80 licensed teams at our disposal. New solutions introduced by the developers increased the game’s realism, too. At the core of AFL Evolution lies a career mode that lets us lead our own player up the professional ladder. Apart from that, we can play a full season with any team and face the artificial intelligence in single matches. What’s interesting, the multiplayer mode offers both a competitive and cooperative (two players in a single team) mode. The production features its high-quality graphics and a well-made replay system.

One of the many DLC packs for the fourth installment in the history-based strategy games series from Paradox Interactive, Europa Universalis. The expansion entitled Third Rome is the first of the so-called Immersion Packs, which focus on expanding specific options in individual regions of the world. In this case we are dealing with Russia, the eponymous Third Rome, a spiritual successor to Byzantine Empire. Along with the add-on, Russian rulers gain a whole range of new management options, including the annexation of entire states or turning highly developed provinces into metropolises. Europa Universalis IV: Third Rome also presents a struggle of the head of the nation with the Orthodox Church. Depending on which saint you chose to revere on icons, you get a specific bonus. Another area that received innovations is the military, featuring brand new, unique units, such as the Moscow Riflemen.

A point-and-click adventure game with action elements, developed by one-man indie developer Anate Studio. You play as an unfortunate man taken to a forest by a murderer. In the last moment, the protagonist is rescued by a mysterious force, but as he looks for a way to escape, he quickly learns that he hasn't been saved yet and still needs to fight for his life. Octave utilizes a side view perspective. The gameplay focuses on traversing locations, which are full of not only puzzles but also enemies such as malevolent shadows and monsters. Apart from the already mentioned forest, you visit a haunted abandoned house or an ominous underground complex. Although the 2D visuals have an old-school feel, Octave features a gripping atmosphere, underscored by the original soundtrack.

This production is a sequel to Mega Man Legacy Collection, released in 2015, and it offers four games that were absent in the aforementioned collection. This time we get: Mega Man 7 released in 1995 on SNES console, Mega Man 8 released in 1996 on PlayStation and SEGA Saturn as well as two newest parts of the series: Mega Man 9 (2008) and Mega Man 10 (2010). All games take place on Earth at the end of XXI century and the main protagonist in all of them is the titular Mega Man – a humanoid robot with artificial intelligence whose main enemy is Doctor Wily, a mad scientist. All games have similar 2D platform mechanics – the most important elements of the games are exploration, collecting items, avoiding traps and fighting enemies. The set has also an additional plus in the form of a virtual museum full of bonus materials for the fans of the series.

Pokemon Ultra Sun is yet another installment of the popular RPG series developed by Game Freak for Nintendo handheld consoles. It was released along with Pokemon Ultra Moon as the improved versions of the 7th generation handheld consoles launch titles, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Once again, we play as a novice Pokemon trainer who desires to become the very best trainer in the world. The game comes with an alternative version of the story we saw in the series' previous installment, offers new types of Pokemon (some available only in this version), and offers some new and changed locations. Nothing has changed in terms of gameplay. We explore the game’s world, do quests, catch more and more Pokemon, and take part in turn-based duels with other trainers. Pokemon Ultra Sun supports the PokeBank app that allows us to transfer Pokemon caught in other games of the series.

A simple strategy game developed by Arc System Works. In the game, the player gets to control a group of pioneers with the task to establish a flourishing settlement and tend to the settlers’ needs. As the game begins, the player has at his disposal only one building and several servants, who have to be assigned particular jobs, like gathering resources, in order to expand the settlement. Further on the list of available structures, one can find production structures (mills, farms, factories), and utility buildings, which, among others, increase the population limits. Settlers can also domesticate animals, which in turn support our pioneers in hunting and transportation, serving, for example, as faithful steeds. As the game progresses, the player receives so-called Invention Cards, which allow them to modify given gameplay aspects, such as harvesting speed. New Frontier Days: Founding Pioneers offers three diverse game modes – Story Mode, Survival Mode, and Free Mode. The entire experience delivers eye-pleasing visuals, featuring a cartoonish style.

The game takes place in a mysterious Ez'rat Qin valley that once was the home of a great civilization. Now, only ruins remain there. Our hero wakes up after hundreds of years of slumber, suffering from amnesia. His task is to find out the truth about himself and his old world's past. We observe the game from a first-person perspective. Gameplay focuses on exploration and gathering clues that will help us find the answers to our questions. The game emphasizes riddles and puzzles. Many times we will have to figure out how a certain mechanism works or find a way to avoid or neutralize a trap before will be able to solve one of them. The game is rather nonlinear and the plot is told visually, so we will not hear or read any texts or dialogues.

A logic game with arcade elements, which lets you play with some virtual clay. You play from a perspective of a child, spending time in his or her room on viewing an amazing book. Each of its pages is a new world built entirely of clay. In-game levels offer a variety of action/logic challenges, most of which are based on the physics of objects – the engine mimics the movement of clay objects quite realistically. In order to solve puzzles, you must properly terraform lands and reshape some structures, move smaller objects or mould them into something else (e.g. turn a small ball into a piece of Swiss cheese or a gingerbread man), as well as control a variety of vehicles. Claybook is very forgiving, letting you rewind time in order to fix your mistakes. Apart from solo play, the game offers co-op mode for up to four people. You can also build your own levels thanks to the in-built editor. The game’s light-hearted atmosphere is reflected by its colorful 3D graphics and pleasant audio.

An economic strategy game from the so-called city builder genre, created by a small studio Sergio & Simon. The game is set in a medieval fantasy world that is randomly generated. In Hearthlands we play as a ruler of a small kingdom who basically owns only the lands around their castle. Our goal is to develop our fief and make sure that our people are safe and live in prosperity. In order to do that we construct new buildings, make sure that goods are distributed properly, and research new technologies. Freedom that the gameplay offers is this game's strong point. It allows us to turn our city into a true stronghold, a trading metropolis or a small town, whose main source of income is fishing. If we can't have good relations with our neighbors, we need to have a strong army which can consist of our citizen or, what is typical for this genre, heroes. However, in order to craft equipment we need to have a sufficient amount of resources.

The gameplay builds on an elaborate career mode, in which the player not only has to win consecutive races but also manage their racing team. Developers did not forget about the multiplayer mode. Because of the possibility to chose between the arcade and simulation-like driving model, both the seasoned and beginning players can participate in the races. Similarly to the previous installments, the game acquired many official sponsors, thus NASCAR Heat 2 features real teams and racers.

8-Bit Farm is a simple economic strategy game developed by Kairosoft, a studio that specializes in mobile games. Like the title suggests, we take the role of a farm administrator. We will have to maximize our farm's production, continually expand it, and achieve the highest levels of contentment of our visitors, who decided to see for themselves how farms actually work. We begin with planting a couple of basic plants, systematic gathering of our crops (flowers, fruits, vegetables), and rearing of farm animals. As our farm systematically grows, we hire more employees and start the agrotouristic part of our business. Gameplay is divided between the seasons and supplemented with many gadgets that will allow us to manipulate weather, puzzle and arcade mini-games. The game features 8-bit, pixelart visuals.

A 2D fighting game developed by the Taiwanese FK Digital, offering 16 different fighters. The player takes on the role of one of them in order to fight in one of the seven available game modes. Above all, the player will find the Arcade Mode (follows the story of the selected character), a score-attack mode, and a multiplayer mode that allows the player to fight against other players from all over the world (online). Furthermore, the game gives us an opportunity to personalize the character. One can both change the appearances of the characters, and select the most appropriate special abilities for them, which can be activated in combat. The Chaos meter serves a significant role in the gameplay formula, as it gets refilled when the player lands a hit and allows them to execute the character's deadly abilities that brighten the screen with plenty of colors and deal lots of damage to the enemies. The game offers pleasant, colorful graphics, resembling Japanese animation.

Developed by Danish Cape Copenhagen, The Gentleman is set during the Great Depression (1928–1933) and tells a story about a great love of the titular gentleman, a street performer named Fred, and a young girl Lisa. The feeling they share is not approved by her father – wealthy entrepreneur Johnathan Joseph Price the Third. The powerful magnate has devoted his life to accumulating a fortune. The only thing he is missing is a coat of arms which would be his pass to establishing close relations with the Royal family. To boost his chances of joining the Royalty, the businessman decides to have his daughter marry count Grossenstein of Teuffelstein. When the titular Gentleman learns about the count’s evil intentions, he starts a race against the clock in order to stop the wedding. Gameplay of The Gentleman is based on Quick Time Events (QTE). The player needs to press the right buttons, which makes the hero move to the rhythm of jazz music.

Gameplay in Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online is based on the series' characteristic scheme. Exploration, completing of main and side quests, collecting more powerful equipment, developing our characters, and fighting with our enemies are the game's core elements. Unlike in the series' main games, fights in Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online are played out in real-time. We can play the game alone or with three friends in co-op. If we choose the second option, we control only one of the goddesses, the rest is controlled by the game's A.I.

A dungeon crawler RPG which is the third installment in the Cladun series. Similar to the previous iterations, Cladun Returns: This is Sengoku! was created by Nippon Ichi Software. The player is once again taken to the magical world of Arcanus Cella, which is a base of operations for heroes that set out on expeditions to dangerous dungeons. This time, the game begins at the end of the Sengoku period in Japan, when the country was brought to its knees by internal wars and rebellions. Damned souls are taken to Arcanus Cella - those cannot enter the path of reincarnation until they have taken care of their unfinished, earthly business. The player's goal is to help them, which requires one to explore dungeons characteristic for the franchise, filled with monsters, traps, powerful bosses, but also valuable artifacts. In combat, the player uses different melee and ranged weapons, such as katanas, warhammers, staves, bows or shurikens. Special abilities and features form a variety of character classes, both common, such as the Swordsman or the Mage, and more exotic professions, such as the Saint, the Priest, or the Onmyoji. The player-controlled character can by supported by their teammates thanks to the Magic Circle system being implemented in this installment as well. Both the faces of the characters and sprites of certain weapons can be modified in the in-game Pixel Editor.

Rogue Trooper Redux

A refreshed version of a shooter game developed by Rebellion (Sniper Elite, Aliens vs. Predator) and released back in 2006. The player takes on the role of a genetically-modified soldier of the future. The game begins soon after the arrival of the protagonist's squad in a strategic warzone, where they got betrayed and slaughtered. As the sole survivor of the massacre, the protagonist has to avenge their comrades and by eliminating those who wronged them. Rogue Trooper Redux is played from a third-person view. Particular missions are set in diverse setting and are based on dynamic exchanges of fire. The protagonist faces other modified soldiers, but also hostile vehicles and combat drones. The game also features stealth-action sequences. Alongside progression, the player unlocks special skill chips - thanks to them, the protagonist can face challenges that would otherwise require an entire squad of soldiers. Compared with the original edition, Rogue Trooper Redux offers noticeably improved graphics.

Developed by THQ Nordic, Sine Mora EX is a remastered version of the well-received 2012 shoot’em up game. The game takes players to a retro-futuristic world engulfed in a continuous war between the forces of the Empire and their adversaries. One gets to pilot diverse airplanes, featuring various weapons and gadgets, and participate in dynamic and spectacular battles against both standard enemy units as well as much more powerful bosses. Sine Mora EX builds on the story campaign comprising seven stages – unlike the second game mode (Arcade), during the campaign the players can modify the specifications of particular machines to adequately prepare them for the mission at hand. The game delivers high-quality visuals – the player is bound to appreciate boss models developed by Mahiro Maeda, one of the most popular Japanese anime artist.

AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected is a cartoonish action-adventure game. It was developed by Aurelien Regard, creators of The Next People, and Jim Genisson, level designer of a couple of Rayman games. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected was inspired by the Japanese children cartoons, both in terms of visuals and atmosphere. The game takes us to a world where modern technology and fantastic beings collide. We play as a brave young boy who goes on various dangerous adventures during which he, along with his friends, fights with enemies. As we play, we explore the game’s world, beat the game’s platform elements, collect items, and fight with enemies. We can recruit every character we meet, including our opponents. It requires us to convince them to do so, so we will have to be really thoughtful and creative when talking with them. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected features quite unusual but still good looking visuals. The game’s colorful world is in 3D, but all characters are 2D sprites.

King Regis is telling his son a story about evil monsters that attacked the capital city of Lucis. Young king Regis and his three friends stood in defense of the kingdom. The gameplay of A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV is based on two pillars: going to the right and fighting hordes of enemies. The battles take place in real time and during them player can use many individual and team attacks. The player can use melee weapons and element-based magic. In dire situations one can also use Summons – powerful creatures that can decimate the opponents. A King’s Tale: Final Fantasy XV uses pixel art inspired by classic, 16-bit games.

A simple, two-dimensional action game for mobile devices. It was developed by the Polish developer Michal Walaszczyk. In Tap Hero the player assumes the role of a knight who must stay alive for as long as possible. The problem is, the protagonist cannot move. He must keep repelling the enemy forces while standing in one place. The enemies are constantly coming from the left and from the right and the player must swing the sword by taping one or the other side of the screen. The simple mechanic is very challenging and even a moment of hesitation can lead to failure. However, filling a special bar enables the player to perform a powerful attack that wipes out all enemies on the screen. The title has nice, 8-bit graphics style with various effects.

An independent MMO survival game based on Unreal Engine 4. The action of Lost Region takes place in a desolated world which is slowly taken over by the ravenous nature. The available landmass was inspired by mountainous regions of North America and consists of 64 square kilometers of diversified landscape. The players are left with a number of duties, including combat, resource gathering, completing procedurally-generated tasks, and exploration. Moreover, groups of players can engage in clan warfare by building strongholds and besieging rivaling outposts. Combat itself is stealth-oriented and requires a lot of cooperation between players, as careless assaults almost always end in failure. Thanks to an extensive crafting system, we can equip a wide range of weaponry and equipment, as well as construct buildings. Interestingly enough, the players can also encounter neutral factions, which may change their standing based on our actions.

A hilarious 2D platformer developed and published by Eclipse Games - an independent Spanish studio. The player is taken to an alternative, angular, version of Earth, which has fallen victim to an attack of aliens from another dimension. Round-shaped creatures, the titular Spheroids have flooded the planet and are trying to turn everything into round objects. A young boy by the name of Lucas and a crazy scientist called Otto are the only ones capable of defeating the invaders. The player assumes the role of Lucas, who explores the world on his own and eliminates the Spheroids he encounters. Otto spends most of his time in his futuristic laboratory, where he conducts experiments on the captured aliens and prepares new gadgets for the player. The most important tool Otto gives to Lucas, is a modified drill, which launches missiles then followed by iron springs - this is the player's main weapon in the game. What adds to the difficulty however, is that the protagonist can fire this weapon vertically - either upwards or downwards. Among the other of the sophisticated inventions the eccentric professor equips Lucas with, the player will find a grappling hook, which allows him to swing over holes, as well as anti-gravity shoes - using these, Lucas can walk on ceilings.

Thanks to the physical motor, this solution plays a key role, for example, in accelerating and covering distances in flight.

A sequel to the 2013 metroidvania title, developed by Image & Form. Once again, the players are taken to a unique world that combines steampunk with western setting, this time as a female robot looking for her missing friend. The gameplay of SteamWorld Dig 2 doesn’t depart from the groundwork of its predecessor, focusing on digging underground tunnels to reach places of interest and find treasures we can spend to upgrade our equipment. There are also various enemies to defeat with our more or less fancy weapons. Like the previous works of Image & Form, the game features good-looking cartoonish visuals.

A top-down space shooter game designed specifically to deliver a co-op experience. The creators of the game, Climax Studios, were inspired mainly by titles popular long ago in arcades. The player takes on the role of an adventurer-pilot, who lives in the criminal center of the galaxy. The protagonist earns their living by selling valuable pieces of hardware salvaged from destroyed spaceships, oftentimes neutralized by themselves. Everything changes when an AI-controlled alien fleet declares a war on the civilized part of the galaxy. Smelling a great fortune to be made, the protagonist quickly sets out to save the world. The player's goal is to defeat the aliens, but definitely not for free. One flies here in a squad of up to four players. Moving across 2D maps, the player will face countless enemy ships belonging to the aliens, law enforcement, or rivaling pirate gangs. Everyone who stands between the player and valuable loot is the target in the game. Using the hardware collected, the player can create new weapons, shields, and engines, in order to make the ship's capabilities suit one's play-style.

Dragon Quest Heroes I & II for Nintendo Switch is a collection of two third-person hack-and-slash games and Dragon Quest series spin-offs developed by Omega Force. Both games are 3D hack-and-slash titles, very similar to the Dynasty Warriors series in terms of gameplay. As we play, we will explore enormous open locations and fight with hordes of enemies. The available heroes have different attacks and special abilities. They can block and evade attacks, which comes in handy when facing the gigantic bosses that require from the players a bit more tactical approach. The Nintendo Switch versions of the games previously released on PlayStation include all DLCs and exclusive content, and brand new characters and scenarios.

A mobile arcade game by the Japanese studio Select Button, set in the universe of the Pokemon game series. Splash! Magikarp takes place in the world created for the previous mobile installments of the franchise, such as Pokemon Shuffle, Pokemon Trading Card Game Online, Pokemon Go or Pokemon Duel. The story focuses on mysterious holes, which one day appear in a small town. The holes are shaped like the first-generation fish Pokemon Magikarp. The creature, and also a favorite of many fans, is known for its funny appearance and truly hopeless battle skills. However, a Magikarp can evolve into a powerful Gyarados. The first person to discover the holes is an unassuming fisherman; later an investigation is started by the official authorities. You play as an adventurer, who decides to find out the truth about the holes on their own.
