A science-fiction, first-person action adventure game created by the Fullbright Company - a developer popular for Gone Home. The player is taken to the year 2088, where the world has developed substantially and space flights have become available for everyone. The player takes on the role of Amy Ferrier - a woman who picked up a job at a space station. On her arrival however, it turns out that her new workplace is abandoned and her only contact is the station's on-board computer - ODIN. The AI does not reveal anything about what happened at the station and the protagonist tries to solve the mystery on her own. For the most part, the player explores the station and discovers various secrets that slowly build up a larger picture. Because the game is set in space, the player not only walks here, but also moves up and down in zero-gravity areas. Consequently, one has to look around carefully in search for different valuables or clues.

A modern remake of one of the most controversial games in gaming history. Originally, the title came out in 1997 as a debut production from the developer Running With Scissors. Both the gameplay and the premise were inspired by the phrase “going postal” which means to become uncontrollably angry and violent as a result of working a stressful job. In the game, we assume the role of the Postal Dude who hits the streets with an intent of murdering anyone who happens to stand, walk, or sit in his way. The title offers several various levels, in which the innocent civilians will be slaughtered with a vast arsenal of weapons of different caliber and purpose. The new version is powered by Unreal Engine 4, which translates into incomparably better graphics, prettier locations, and more detailed character models. It also offers a cooperation mode. Despite the changes to the technical side of the game, the developers managed to preserve the specific atmosphere of the original.

You also need to make investments in order for your company to prosper, especially when it comes to newer, improved machines, which make logging easier. The game features expansive maps, where you can find not only large woods, but also road networks with traffic, which can be an additional challenge e.g. when you have to transport many goods at once.

Gameplay features a modified version of classic chess and offers two game modes. In the classic mode, you choose one of the available races, fight, and gradually unlock new characters and abilities. In the Regicide mode, rules are slightly more complicated – during their turn, players can move, open fire at enemies and environment elements, and use a whole range of psionic powers. Attractive visuals use motion capture technology and feature characteristic elements of the Warhammer stylistics.

At first, the player fills the empty map with lakes, rivers, forests or mountains. Then they begin building the amusement park. The game offers an extensive rollercoaster editor, which allows the player to shape even the track curves. One can also equip the rollercoasters with additional amusements. Thanks to an advanced physics engine, wagons move in a realistic manner. Furthermore, the player can also build building restaurants, gift shops, toilets and other structures essential to a well-managed theme park. When the park is ready, the player invites visitors. Interestingly, the game gives an opportunity to assume the role of one such person, simply to try out the rides. What is more, the player can visit someone else's theme park and share their work with other gamers.

The mechanics of the game doesn't differ much from typical 3D platformers, reducing the gameplay to exploration, overcoming various obstacles and fighting with enemies.

A steampunk-themed economy simulation strategy game developed by the independent studio Gaslamp Games which is known for the roguelike RPG entitled Dungeons of Dredmor. The action takes place in an unusual depiction of the 19th century, and the players assume the role of proud citizens of British Empire, their task being to colonize new lands. Generally, the gameplay mechanics are based on typical economy simulation games and involve primarily expansion of towns and managing their resources. At the same time, the title gives us a lot more freedom, offering a dynamically changing sandbox world that has its inhabitants who live their own lives. The original feature of the production is that it abandoned pre-made buildings in favor of structures that we create from the bottom up. Apart from purely economic aspects, we also have to face various random events as well as monsters, cultists, or pirates who try to thwart our plans.

In most part, in-game world is generated procedurally, which results in a huge area to explore. There is also no shortage of handcrafted locations, based on real-life places. Apart from natural caves and the bottom of the sea you get to explore sunken ships and submarines as well as undersea ruins. Gameplay is focused on multiplayer, as many missions require more than one diver to complete. Apart from co-op missions, there are also some competitive game modes, based on either typical sports or treasure hunting.

A survival horror game inspired by the classics of the genre, such as the first installments of the Alone in the Dark, Resident Evil or Silent Hill series. Thanatophobia is the first production by Death Kneel Games. The title means “a pathological fear of death.” The protagonist of the game is a former policeman called Sam Dehaven, who wants to take revenge on a fugitive serial killer of children. The official investigation yielded no results and cost Dehaven his career. During Dehaven's private investigation it turns out, however, that the murderer has some supernatural connections. You learn the story through reading notes you find and listening to recordings and comments of the protagonist. During the game, you have to visit grim locations and solve more or less complex puzzles requiring logical thinking and environment manipulation. Another important aspect of the gameplay is combat, during which you use firearms, although the sparse ammo often means that you have to resort to more subtle means.

The game was developed by the creators of the first part, Cyanide Studio. The story mode features a new, extensive campaign, in which you take the role of a manager of one of the oldest and most successful teams of the Old World – Reikland Reavers. General gameplay rules remained unchanged, however, the creators heeded to the fans’ suggestions and included lots of innovations and improvements. A brand new graphics engine was designed solely for this game, introducing enhanced visuals and animations, as well as a dynamic camera system. The game follows the distinctive convention of a show broadcasted on Cabal Vision, the official Blood Bowl television, and the matches are casted by a likable duet of a vampire and an ogre. Of course, the developers did not forget about competitive multiplayer.

A two-dimensional shoot ‘em up arcade game developed by the 17-bit studio. In GALAK-Z, we assume the role of a space fighter pilot who has to face enemies armed to the teeth and hostile environmental conditions. Although the general gameplay premise isn’t really different from the genre’s standards, the developers introduced several innovations. The first is the control model based on two analog sticks that we use to move and shoot, while special attacks are assigned to gamepad buttons. Moreover, the game world is a one huge open level with smaller or bigger asteroids, each having its own network of caves where we can hide from enemy fire. When designing levels, ships, and the available characters, the developers took inspiration from the classics of anime and the science fiction TV series from the ‘70s and ‘80s.
