An exploration-focused adventure game with FPP view, developed by The Station studio – an experienced team consisting of people who worked on titles like Crash Bandicoot, League of Legends, Destiny and the Prototype series. Its story has been set in a distant future and focuses on the activities of Axiom corporation, which finds the first alien civilization after years of searching. However, the station that was sent to establish contact with the Aliens has malfunctioned, and a prospector (the player character) is sent to investigate the case. What he will discover will change his view on surveillance, imperialism and morality. Gameplay in The Station is based on exploration and plot, with classic narration being limited to minimum. This means that the players discover the plot not through dialogues or cutscenes, but mostly through their environments, and they must bring all pieces of a puzzle together.

Running with Rifles: Pacific is an expansion pack for a tactical action game released for PC in 2015, entitled Running with Rifles. The add-on takes the player to one of the fronts of the World War II, namely the Pacific War. The game’s developer took care to faithfully recreate both actual armament and gear used in the period as well as uniforms worn by soldiers of the U.S. Army and Japan at that time. Besides, players are thrown into battlefields which are based on islands where actual military operations were taking place in 1940s. Not only their names match, but also do details and the topography of the terrain. Although the original gameplay mechanics did not change – Running with Rifles: Pacific is still a top-down shooter with elements of tactics, such as commanding a squad or taking cover – the new setting provides quite a different experience.

The Walking Dead: March to War is a free-to-play mobile multiplayer strategy game based on The Walking Dead franchise. It was developed by Disruptor Beam, a studio known for games like Game of Thrones Ascent or Star Trek Timelines. March to War features optional microtransactions. The game takes place near Washington, D.C. some time after the zombie epidemic began. We lead a group of survivors and try to keep them alive in the new, post-apocalyptic reality. In order to do so, we will have to expand and upgrade our base, manage our resources, and complete missions. We will also have to find and recruit other survivors. Each of them has their own story, personality, and abilities which we can level up. All deaths are permanent, so losing a high level survivor can be painful. The so-called Council system plays a crucial role in the game. The Council is made of characters we know from the comic books. Each of them is a skilled survivor, making them great leaders of mission squads. It is almost impossible to achieve victory by playing by ourselves. The Walking Dead: March to War forces to create alliances with other players in order to defeat common enemies.

An economic strategy game developed by Machine Zone. The game takes place in Eos – a fantasy world created for the 2016 game Final Fantasy XV. The plot is of little importance in this title, giving way to the online gameplay, which is shaped by the decisions of the players. The gameplay focuses on expanding the kingdom. During the game, the player constructs buildings, gathers resources and researches new technologies. Although the game is based on a simple economic system, it also contains a military aspect: the player must recruit warriors and make them fight the AI-controlled forces in real time. Although player’s army is accompanied by characters from the console RPG - including Noctis and Cindy - playing the game alone is not a good idea. It is much better to create a guild or to join one and cooperate with other players.

Gameplay in Save Jesus focuses on manipulating the environmental elements in a way to change the course of a rolling rock aimed at Jesus and use it to kill roman soldiers instead. Maps are made of squares symbolizing patches of ground (we can remove them with a single click to create a path for the murderous rock) and are filled with moving elements (i.e. log) and other stuff, e.g. explosives. When it comes to mechanics, the game is a classic flipper – our task is to keep the ball on the table using two mechanical paws called flipper bats. Each table contains additional ramps and bumpers that offer score bonuses and multipliers when hit. The basic version of Stern Pinball Arcade contains a single table named Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein – other tables are unlocked through paid DLCs. An elaborate sailing simulator, developed by Orbcreation. The most prominent feature of the game is the realism – seas and oceans the players get to sail have been designed based on the real data regarding wind velocity and direction, water depth, wave height, and wave energy. The weather conditions featured by the game represent those from the real world. Moreover, the players can use the auto-sail option - as the boats sail with a realistic speed, it might take months to reach the destination. When players are away from the game, they are notified of the cruise’s progress via e-mail. The game also features certain MMO elements: players can invite other sailors to board their boats (the game offers such sailing units as the 38 feet long Cruiser, one-man Mini-Transat or a classic 52-feet long cruise yacht), and create groups to sail the seas and oceans in any formation. When doing so, the players can communicate with each other through the built-in chat. The entire experience features high-quality visuals – sudden changes of weather conditions and detailed water animations are bound to satisfy all sailing enthusiasts.

A classic career-like mode - the World Tour, constitutes the core element of the experience, but the game also offers quick races in addition to the aforementioned freestyle contests. It is worth mentioning that the in-game vehicles differ in their statistics and performances; as for the rider, the player can customize their appearance to their liking. What is a big advantage of the game, ATV Renegades offers a local multiplayer opportunity to challenge a second player for a split-screen duel. Unfortunately however, the game's visuals are far from satisfactory and can be considered average-quality at best.

Brawl of Ages is a free-to-play strategy game that combines elements of card games, real-time strategies, and MOBAs. It was developed by BNA Studios. In Brawl of Ages, the players take part in 3-5 minutes long PvP duels where players send all kinds of monsters against each other in order to destroy the enemy player's base. We achieve victory by destroying our opponent's Throne, his main tower defended by two smaller watchtowers. In order to breach the enemy defenses, we have to use cards from the card deck we've prepared earlier. Playing a card may have various results. Usually it will summon a new unit to the battlefield, but it is possible to build an additional defensive or production structure, place a totem that will power up warriors in its range, or cast a destructive spell that will damage all nearby enemy units. We cannot manually control our units, they are controlled by a simple artificial intelligence, similar to those we can see in tower defense games. After being dropped on the map in a place of our choosing, our characters will automatically go in the direction of our enemy's fortifications and automatically attack hostile targets encountered along the way. We can play against our friends or randomly selected players.

A combat simulator which places the player in control of a starfighter. Developed by an independent British team - Mad About Games Studios Ltd., the game was inspired by space simulators from the 90s. Starfighter Origins is set in a futuristic world, where humans explore space and pirates are waiting among asteroids for unarmed transport ships and other easy loot. The player assumes the role of a pilot working for the Colonial Defense Force - a law enforcement group that use various kinds of combat ships in order to maintain order in space. The player has six unique ships to fly in the game, including fast, reconnaissance units with powerful radars, classic fighters - they handle well and are well-armed, and heavily-armored support craft. Eliminating the enemies involves use of both rapid-fire cannons and auto-targeting missiles. When fighting, the player must pay attention to how much resources they have left - both fuel and ammunition, as not every mission gives an opportunity to re-fuel the ship and refill ammunition. The game delivers exclusively a single-player experience. The four modes available include the story campaign, the Simulation and the Challenge modes (a series of independent scenarios), and the Instant Action mode. The last of these requires the player to choose a difficulty level at the beginning; both the battlefield and type of enemies are assigned randomly.

Unlike Big Bud 450, the 747 is no longer used and the only 747 tractor ever built is currently displayed at the Heartland museum. Due to their size and weight, both machines have a very different 'driving feel' than the ones from the base game. An adventure game with horror features, focused around exploration and with unusual visuals. The work of Introversion Software’s team delivered a title set in a system of underground caves and corridors, wrapped in utter darkness. With no flashlights or torches of any kind, we can only navigate using laser-scanning system LIDAR, which displays our surroundings as three-dimensional shapes formed by sparkling points. We do this by pointing a handheld laser – when the rays reflect from an obstacles, the system analyzes them, calculates their position and draws a shape of our surroundings. This image is displayed in a helmet worn by the protagonist. The system designed by developers has many functions that help us orient ourselves during exploration of caves. Those include: addition of color gradient in space depending on how far the points are from the player, the ability to change width of the scanning beam and map mode that shows every scanned and drawn corridor. The labyrinth explored by us hides many secrets, from common wonders of nature (like caves of stalactites and stalagmites) to ruined buildings of ancient cultists.

Revolution introduces a new setting, focusing on the small Kingdom of Jutland, standing against the powerful Ruzhien Empire, which had grown in power immensely ever since the discovery of a mysterious mineral. The player assumes the role of Amleth, the leader of an elite unit who is supported by the beautiful Princess Ophelia Augusta Jutland. When it comes to mechanics, Valkyria Revolution is an action RPG with strategy game elements. The developers have replaced the turn-based combat system in favor of real time battles (which still require a bit of tactical finesse). Aside from combat, the game contains a complex weapon upgrade system and numerous side activities, such as interacting with your squad members.

A sports game created for the fans of basketball and released by Electronic Arts. After the three previous installments, which were average games at best, the developer was given more time to create this new follow-up. Thanks to that, NBA Live 18 brings a few interesting novelties. Above all, the game introduces The One mode - the player creates their own character and takes part in matches in The Streets mode and The League component (the latter is the NBA league). The player works on the skills of their character while experiencing the game, acquires new outfits and tattoos. Apart from that, 12 teams from the WNBA league (women's NBA) were featured, such as L.A. Sparks, Minnesota Lynx or New York Liberty. When it comes to gameplay, the creators prepared more intuitive controls, as well as hundreds of new moves the particular basketball players are popular for. The game offers both single player and multiplayer (competitive and co-op) modes. One can experience the Ultimate Team, and the Takedown modes, but also play friendly matches.

Nighthaw-X3000 is a dynamic shoot'em up game developed by the independent Polish studio N94 Games. We play as James Pilecki, an elite pilot whose job is to face the alien invaders who attacked Earth in the year 2000. Action in the game is presented from a top-down perspective. The plane we control automatically flies upwards. Our job is to maneuver in a way that will allow us to eliminate the aliens and avoid their fire. We have to be extremely agile and rely on our reflexes if we want to be victorious. The fact that the game itself is quite hard will also force us to use the entire range of available weapons if we want to succeed. Nighthaw-X3000's plot is accompanied by a couple of multiplayer game modes. The game's pace is turned up by the specially composed synthwave soundtrack. Associations with the 80's science fiction movies naturally come to mind due to Nighthaw-X3000's colorful pixel-art visuals.
