A turn-based military strategy game by Japanese studio Area 34, inspired by classic Japanese productions of the genre. In Tiny Metal you play as Lieutenant Nathan Gries, an officer of the Artemisian army, which is at war with the evil nation of Zipang. During the turn-based battles you assume control of many units and attack the enemy by using the right tactic and taking advantage of the terrain. There are thirteen unique units, and the battles are affected by their abilities and the genre-typical fog of war. Apart from the story campaign, which should take about 8-19 hours to finish, there is also a skirmish mode, allowing you to participate in quick battles, and a level editor.

Another installment of the sports game series developed by Cyanide Studio and dedicated to fans of cycling. On PC, the title is a cycling management game in which the player doesn’t have direct control over the cyclists – our task is to form the best possible team that consists of training staff and sportsmen recruited by, for example, talent hunters. One of the keys to success is to adopt the right tactic for subsequent races. In the console version of Pro Cycling Manager, the players assume the role of a chosen cyclist who belongs to one of 22 official clubs. Our goal is, of course, achieve as many successes as possible which is no small task since we have to face other world-famous teams. Compared to their predecessors, both versions of the game boast improved artificial intelligence and physics. Moreover, apart from an extensive career mode, they offer multiplayer modules that allow us to compete against and cooperate with other players from all over the world.

An unusual, first-person perspective logic game developed by Total Mayhem Games. The title is a game focused on cooperation mode. We Were Here takes place in a mysterious, abandoned castle in the middle of nowhere. One of the players assumes the role of a man imprisoned in a small part of the fortress. The second player has access to a much greater area and is tasked with finding and freeing his companion. To achieve that, the players must complete a series of logic and environmental puzzles based on team work. What makes matter worse is the fact that the characters can communicate only by using a radio. In addition to that, in some parts of the castle there are harsh conditions and the player can, for example, freeze to death. We Were Here can be played only in cooperation mode via Internet and with microphone. The title also supports virtual reality goggles, although they aren’t mandatory to play the game.

In the game, the player assumes control of young dragons tasked with fighting an army of hostile robots called Mechaliches, who were able to conquer the protagonists' home planet and kidnap their mother. During the game, the character constantly moves rightwards, eliminates hordes of enemies, and avoids the ever-present obstacles. Moreover, as one progresses through the game, they acquire points giving access to various special abilities assigned separately to each weapon. Dragon Bros allows the player to enjoy both single and cooperative local multiplayer modes. Interestingly enough, completed stages of the game can be replayed, e.g. to achieve a higher score - moreover, one can test their skills by playing the game on a higher difficulty level. The action of the game takes place in Taiwan during the 1960s, in the middle of martial law that lasted 37 years. We are taken to Greenwood, a high-school placed in a mountainous area. The players assume the role of two students who discover that the school became inhabited by wicked monsters known from local legends. Their mission is to survive, as well as to discover the origins of the mysterious evil. Detention is built on exploration, gathering items, and solving riddles, all performed through a classic point-and-click interface. Our protagonists are practically helpless in open combat, so their only way to deal with the danger is to hide and lay traps, and escape if need be. The two-dimensional visuals are quite interesting, as the developers were inspired by the mythology of China and Taiwan, as well as Taoist and Buddhist beliefs.

Party Hard 2 takes place ten years after the events of the first game and we control a new hero: a frustrated corporation employee who hopes to get a Christmas bonus from his employer. When it turns out that he will not receive it, he decides to take matters in his own hands and plans a bloody retaliation on his boss and co-workers. He chooses one the company's social events. Gameplay uses the same mechanics we saw in the first game. Our protagonist's goal is to eliminate the event's participants in such a way that nobody catches us. To achieve that, we have to act tactically and make use of many weapons, traps, and gadgets. Unlike its predecessor, Party Hard 2 has 3D visuals. Thanks to that, our hero can employ many new possibilities.

An adventure storytelling game for mobile devices, created by White Wolf Entertainment and Swedish novelist Karin Tidbeck. Mage the Ascension: Refuge is based on a tabletop role-playing game. The production takes place in today's Sweden, and you play as a woman, who recently learned that she's a mage and gradually discovers her powers, which allow her to shape reality. Unfortunately, enemy factions want to use her powers to conquer the magical society. There are no arcade sequences in the game, which focuses on the plot, shown via text with occasional pictures, and on conversing and making decisions, which affect the story. To succeed, you need to achieve balance between your desire for power and the risk of the so-called Paradox.

The fourth major installment of Valkyria Chronicles, a popular jRPG series developed by Media Vision. Revolution introduces a new setting, focusing on the small Kingdom of Jutland, standing against the powerful Ruzhien Empire, which had grown in power immensely ever since the discovery of a mysterious mineral. The player assumes the role of Amleth, the leader of an elite unit who is supported by the beautiful Princess Ophelia Augusta Jutland. When it comes to mechanics, Valkyria Revolution is an action RPG with strategy game elements. The developers have replaced the turn-based combat system in favor of real time battles (which still require a bit of tactical finesse). Aside from combat, the game contains a complex weapon upgrade system and numerous side activities, such as interacting with your squad members.

A standalone expansion for Stellaris – a 4X strategy game developed by Paradox Interactive. The Utopia expansion introduces an array of innovations and improvements, the first and foremost being an option of building so-called megastructures. This enigmatic name stands for giant, ring-shaped artificial worlds or even ones resembling a Dyson sphere, i.e. massive construction that completely encompasses a star and efficiently consumes all the energy emitted by it. Apart from that, you can also create new habitats in the form of large space stations, which offer more living space for your community. Stellaris: Utopia also brings along the system of traditions. Adopting new civilization ideas and gathering so-called Unity points helps you expand your empire and grants active bonuses to its development. The list of new features ends up with an option of establishing new laws and giving privileges for individual races.

An original platform game created by Splashteam - an independent studio founded by a former Ubisoft employee, who had co-created such games as Rayman Origins or Rayman Legends. Splasher takes the player to the headquarters of Inkorp, a company managed by Le Docteur. This ominous figure decides to break the daily routine at the company and bring the workers to their knees. One of the employees is the game's protagonist, who tries to stop the villain and save his co-workers. The player makes use of an unusual weapon - the Splatter Cannon, which shoots with colored ink. The core of the experience is constituted by exploration, avoiding various traps, and fighting the enemies encountered. Depending on the ink color used, the player gets different results, such as dealing damage, creating surfaces to climb on, sticking the protagonist to various objects, or bouncing the titular Splasher off them. The protagonist dies relatively often; learning the lessons brought by one's mistakes is the key to victory in this game.

Another large expansion pack for an MMORPG entitled The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited (created by ZeniMax Online Studios). The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited - Morrowind gives us an opportunity to visit the island of Vvardenfell, which is located in the titular province of Morrowind. The plot revolves around a mysterious sickness which has taken its toll on Vivec - a member of the Trinity of divine entities that have guarded this part of the world. The player's task will be to find the medicine and restore Vivec to health. Exploration and completing different quests given by the inhabitants of an extensive world remain the core of the experience. Fighting various enemies is another important part of the game. Although one can experience what this world has to offer solo, the adventure gets deeper when the player is accompanied by others. Apart from an additional place to explore and a new storyline, the add-on introduces a new character class, that is, the Warden. This class makes a great use of the magic of nature, but is also supported in combat by a tamed bear. A new PvP mode constitutes another novelty - the Battlegrounds are focused on three teams of four players fighting one another.

A sports game created for the fans of basketball and released by Electronic Arts. After the three previous installments, which were average games at best, the developer was given more time to create this new follow-up. Thanks to that, NBA Live 18 brings a few interesting novelties. Above all, the game introduces The One mode - the player creates their own character and takes part in matches in The Streets mode and The League component (the latter is the NBA league). The player works on the skills of their character while experiencing the game, acquires new outfits and tattoos. Apart from that, 12 teams from the WNBA league (women's NBA) were featured, such as L.A. Sparks, Minnesota Lynx or New York Liberty. When it comes to gameplay, the creators prepared more intuitive controls, as well as hundreds of new moves the particular basketball players are popular for. The game offers both single player and multiplayer (competitive and co-op) modes. One can experience the Ultimate Team, and the Takedown modes, but also play friendly matches.

AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected is a cartoonish action-adventure game. It was developed by Aurelien Regard, creators of The Next People, and Jim Genisson, level designer of a couple of Rayman games. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected was inspired by the Japanese children cartoons, both in terms of visuals and atmosphere. The game takes us to a world where modern technology and fantastic beings collide. We play as a brave young boy who goes on various dangerous adventures during which he, along with his friends, fights with enemies. As we play, we explore the game’s world, beat the game’s platform elements, collect items, and fight with enemies. We can recruit every character we meet, including our opponents. It requires us to convince them to do so, so we will have to be really thoughtful and creative when talking with them. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected features quite unusual but still good looking visuals. The game’s colorful world is in 3D, but all characters are 2D sprites.
