A survival horror game by HKFiftyOne Games. The game starts in a secret NASA research facility, in which the staff experiments on a mysterious finding discovered on the surface of the Moon by the crew of Apollo 17 in 1979. Things very quickly get out of control and the lab is closed due to the leak of a dangerous substance. The protagonist is a member of a special team, which has to neutralize the danger. He quickly learns that the threat is alien in origin and he has to face it alone. Quadrant utilizes a first-person perspective, and the gameplay focuses on exploring the claustrophobic laboratory. The grim, chilling atmosphere is strengthened by the signs of the presence of some unknown murderous force (such as bloodstains and shadows you see in the corner of your eye) and suggestive, unsettling noises coming from the seemingly unoccupied rooms. The game's story is nonlinear and your actions can greatly affect it.

An independent adventure game focused on exploration and plot. The title, developed by American studio PostMod, takes the player to an abandoned city, where they are tasked with discovering the reasons why the place became desolated. During the journey the player is looking for answers to philosophical questions related to humans and the choices they make. The action is slow-paced and the gameplay focuses on traveling through half-open levels and interacting with items and witnessed events. The player can explore several paths that don’t intertwine with each other. Because of that, in order to discover all the mysteries of the city, the game must be completed more than once. Although the developers focused on delivering a message through their game, they also made sure the graphics of the experience they created are of decent quality. The game features nice three-dimensional visuals, crated thanks to the unusual style created by lights and shadows. The developers have also included an atmospheric soundtrack created by Simon Heath, a Swedish dark-ambient composer.

A space RTS with rougelike elements. In Distant Star: Revenant Fleet players lead the A'kari race that must rebuild its shattered fleet and regain its military power so they can finally face the ruthless Orthani. The gameplay is a little bit similar to the cult classic series Homeworld but the difference here is that the events are not presented in full 3D but from a top-down perspective. Battles take place in a randomly generated galaxy and, depending on the choices made throughout the game, the players can experience a different story. We can choose from many units that can be created from scratch by equipping them with different weapons, on-board systems and special modules. The game gives players a lot of room for tactics and requires them to be able to adapt to circumstances that can change at any moment, which means that the fleet must be constantly upgraded. With battles comes experience that allows the players to unlock new technologies and prepare their armies for the final confrontation.

A browser MMO strategy game from the creators of Tribal Wars. In Elvenar the player joins one of two sides of conflict: humans or elves, and strives to build a prospering metropolis. Each of the two races uses different technologies and offers unique architecture, units, and a bit different gameplay philosophy. For example, elves live in harmony with nature, practice magic and coexist with other fantasy creatures, whereas humans are more of ambitious engineers, who use medieval weapons and technology. The foundation of gameplay is to provide your settlement with wealth and security as well as transform it into a big metropolis. To this end you have to produce food and collect resources, expand buildings, and recruit a strong army that would fight your battles and allow you to explore new territories. In Elvenar you can focus on story-based campaign missions or interact with other players: establish alliances, trade or wage wars with them. Battles are fought in a turn-based system on hexagonal fields. Elvenar stands out from similar games with impressive 3D visuals and high-quality graphics.

An unusual logic game enriched with elements associated with economic strategies and card games. Concrete Jungle was designed by the creators of MegaCity. The player assumes the role of a mayor whose task is to ensure dynamic development of a small town. Although this resembles a brief description of a typical economic strategy game, Concrete Jungle uses mechanics typical for logic and card games mainly. The player has their deck, which gets expanded gradually, and the cards represent particular buildings. Thus playing a card results in the building assigned to it appearing on the map. Each building affects its neighboring areas. For example, building a sewage treatment plant increases the price of land in the area, but parcels without connection to the plant will simultaneously get cheaper. The player's goal is to obtain a specified number of points from the inhabitants of a given section, which unlocks new places for construction. Concrete Jungle offers a story campaign, as well as a competition-based mode, which requires the player to achieve victory over the AI. One can also compete against other players or cooperate with them.

The player's task is to transform a small outpost into a strong military base capable of defending itself against attacks of an exceptionally powerful enemy. The player constructs buildings and defensive structures, trains soldiers and improves technologies. The previously mentioned "heroes" play the crucial part here, for their special abilities can tip the balance in favor of the player's victory more than once. Call of Duty: Heroes offers average-looking visuals. It is also a subject to limitations encountered commonly in free-to-play games.

The player assumes the role of The Corporation's former employee - a driver that suddenly got fired after years of hard work. Along with two acquaintances, the protagonist decides to establish his own company. At the beginning, they can afford only a decaying building and two rusty trucks. Over time however, the company grows and the protagonist can begin to gradually eliminate the competing companies in order to become the new leader. Gameplay takes place on authentic, though simplified, maps featuring characteristic buildings in particular cities. The player takes care of transporting hundreds of kinds of cargo, making use of nearly 50 trucks, which can be additionally modified. Furthermore, investing in new buildings, modernizing them, investing in the infrastructure, buying new trucks and expanding the operations are all an important part of the experience. The game is played in rounds - one lasts 12 weeks and gets dominated by the player who manages to have the largest share in the market. An opportunity to create alliances with other players makes it easier to defeat the competing companies - up to 25 players can be cooperating with each other within one such alliance.

Heroes & Castles 2 is a mixture of arcade and tower defense games, set in a classic fantasy land. Beside crushing our enemies, we can gather gold and spend it on fixing or upgrading our castle (i.e. higher walls or towers). We can also train units that aid us in battle. In Heroes & Castles 2 battles are bigger, and we can not only defend our keep, but also invade enemy territories. Character progression, combat system, and visuals were also visibly improved.
