An independent two-dimensional arcade logic game developed by the authors of Frobisher Says! and Hohokum. Super Exploding Zoo takes place in a zoological garden that sees the invasion of insect-like aliens. The players take control of the zoo inhabitants that attempt to stave off the invasion and defend the eggs that can hatch young animals. The world of the game is built from two-dimensional alleys (the game contains tower defense elements) which are used by the enemies to reach the valuable eggs. We begin the game with a small number of animals, with additional companions recruited through destroying walls or hedgerows guarding their enclosures. Interestingly enough, each member of our team is also a walking bomb, able to detonate at will. Each species is characterized by different abilities, as well as damage dealt. To win, the player has to choose the right tactics and make good use of the available resources. Aside from the single player campaign, Super Exploding Zoo contains a multiplayer mode. The game uses cartoonish graphics with pastel colors.

The game starts in a secret NASA research facility, in which the staff experiments on a mysterious finding discovered on the surface of the Moon by the crew of Apollo 17 in 1979. Things very quickly get out of control and the lab is closed due to the leak of a dangerous substance. The protagonist is a member of a special team, which has to neutralize the danger. He quickly learns that the threat is alien in origin and he has to face it alone. Quadrant utilizes a first-person perspective, and the gameplay focuses on exploring the claustrophobic laboratory. The grim, chilling atmosphere is strengthened by the signs of the presence of some unknown murderous force (such as bloodstains and shadows you see in the corner of your eye) and suggestive, unsettling noises coming from the seemingly unoccupied rooms. The game's story is nonlinear and your actions can greatly affect it.

Similarly to the original, the combat combines elements of classic arcade shooters with strategic aspects that involve commanding our subordinates and progressive fleet development. Digital Combat Simulator: Mig-15bis is another installment in the advanced flight simulator series Digital Combat Simulator developed by the Belarussian studio Belsimtek and the Russian studio Eagle Dynamics. The "protagonist" of this game is the legendary single-engine jet fighter plane Mig-15bis, which entered service in 1949. This model gained its glory and legendary status during the Korean war, being the equivalent and rival of the American F-86 Sabre. Digital Combat Simulator: Mig-15bis continues the tradition of the previous games of the series and offers realistic recreation of the titular plane's flight model, giving players the possibility of experiencing the actual thing as close as possible. The developers, in cooperation with renowned experts on the topic, have reconstructed not only the plane's weaponry, but also technical parameters and all of the Mig's on-board systems. We will also find a highly detailed, interactive 6-DOF cockpit in the game. We will operate it with our mouse. The story of the game takes place in the universe known from the original game, in the not too distant future. It picks up the plot started in the previous game. The game mechanics remain unchanged and combines elements of an action game with an RTS. The main task of the player is to safely break through the enemy territory. The player has access to a brand new story campaign encompassing 15 missions. The missions take place on brand new maps – changed to fit the new storyline and the unique traits of a mobile platform. The main difference in comparison to the original game is the absence of commanders on the battlefield – we now give orders to the squad directly.

We may compete with other players or cooperate with them against the AI. In the game, no direct confrontation of units occurs; combat takes place only with the use of our buildings and machines. The production features an advanced physics engine and an accurate reconstruction of historical building techniques.

He finds a safe haven from the alien and the androids but his resources are dwindling. He must find the courage to leave the hideout and gather the items that will finally help him escape this cursed place. The challenge features ten levels, during which the player must avoid all dangers. The expansion includes a novelty that makes the task much harder – the map is much larger than previously and the player has only a single life. When the protagonist dies, the campaign must be started from the beginning. In each level the player can gain score that is related to gaining access to additional resources.

The game takes place in an alternative version of modern world which is filled with paranormal beings. Fantasy creatures are a regular thing there and they can be caught and tamed. It is the main objective of the player, who assumes the role of a monster trainer. He must train the creatures and then make them fight with creatures trained by his rivals. In Duel Revolution it is possible to freely explore a world filled with interesting characters and missions. Completing them, similarly as winning battles, is awarded with experience points. These can be used for developing the monsters, of which there are more than 100 types. An interesting addition is the possibility to combine several species into a one, powerful hybrid. In addition to solo mode the developers from Prodigious Works prepared a competitive multiplayer mode.

The game features an expansive and well-thought-out system of developing your characters, in which, apart from gathering experience and upgrading statistics, an important factor are the profession mechanics. The main protagonist is Sergeant Wright, who after landing in Normandy continues the military offensive on territories occupied by the Nazis. He is accompanied by a small group of men, each member of which has unique equipment and skills. The game features only a story campaign, which consists of eight missions. During them the player participates in open shootouts with enemies and performs stealth missions. The action is presented with a third-person perspective – the first-person perspective is used only while precisely aiming. Because of that and the presence of a cover system, despite the large number of enemies the action is rather slow paced. During the fights the player can use special attacks (like an airstrike, rockets, Molotov’s cocktails) and the gameplay mechanics feature RPG traits like statistics upgrading and developing the skills of members of the squad.

A peculiar real-time strategy focusing on multiplayer gameplay. In BOID, the players assume the roles of primitive organisms that need to develop their abilities through evolution in order to eliminate their rivals. There are eight classes at to players’ disposal, with strong and weak sides working in a “rock-paper-scissors” system. Among them, we can find units attacking their enemy with poison, exploding on contact with an enemy, or immobilizing and devouring their victims. Some of them have more speed and less health, while others are more durable, but lacking in mobility. The key to success lies in skillful employment of these traits. BOID focuses on dynamic encounters that can last from 2 to 20 minutes. A typical match includes unit deployment, assuming an adequate strategy, and applying countermeasures to enemy actions. Additionally, during the gameplay we can use defensive structures placed around the map. BOID is characterized by minimalistic visuals, enriched with hand-drawn backgrounds and colorful lighting effects.

The so-called “game pack” is located half-way between accessory packs, known from the previous installments, and the classic “big” expansions. The most important aspect of Outdoor Retreat is the new mountainous location called Granite Falls. It's an clean place, where the tired Sims can find respite from the problems of their daily lives. In Granite Falls, they can participate in a range of new activities, such as sleeping in a tent, playing camping games, roasting sausages over a bonfire, and gathering herbs (which also involves a brand new Herbalism skill). There are also several smaller novelties, e.g. the bear costume and the NPC wearing them, who annoys the vacationing Sims.

Yet another joke simulation game, a genre which, contrary to any logical reasoning, keeps gaining crowds of fans. The hero of this game, developed by an independent team at Bossa Studios, is a slice of bread, and the player’s job is to take it all the way to a toaster. Gameplay mechanics in I Am Bread are pretty complex, the biggest difficulty being controlling all four corners of the toast separately. With these mechanics the “hero” can perform simple moves on any flat surface. The game is played in various rooms, and in order to get the toast to its ultimate destination you can make use of various types of house equipment, e.g. a fan, which makes for an excellent catapult. While playing, you must also supervise two essential statistics of the bread: its edibility and deliciousness. Too much dirt can make the toast completely inedible.

An original platform game developed by an independent studio Grandé Games, employing classic gamepads as well as motion controllers. The player assumes the role of the titular Commander Cherry, a famous adventurer and inventor from another dimension. The gameplay focuses on traversing varied levels, jumping between platforms, avoiding traps and gathering items. Simple environmental riddles await us from time to time – in order to continue his journey, our hero has to use advanced gadgets allowing for creation of various objects, which then can be used as platforms. Interestingly enough, we draw various shapes using a motion controller, as well as by striking a certain pose before the camera. Commander Cherry’s Puzzled Journey offers gameplay modes for lone players, as well as duets. The game is characteristic for its decent, cartoon visuals.

A simple logic arcade game and at the same time a mobile application accompanying the fourth major entry in Ubisoft’s Far Cry series. Far Cry 4: Arcade Poker combines rules of the classic poker with features of a classic arcade game like Tetris. Players must assemble poker hands from falling cards before they reach the bottom of the screen. We drag the pieces we need into correct place, while those we have no use for can be exchanged for others with a single tap. This simple concept is varied through the addition of many power-ups. Naturally, every poker combination earns us points, and we are given additional tasks and high-scores to beat on later levels. One noteworthy thing is that virtual currency won in this game are sent to our character’s account in Far Cry 4.

A turn-based strategy game set in a steampunk world and inspired by both the mechanics of the Puzzle Quest series and the works of such writers as Herbert Wells or Jules Verne. Ironcast is set in an alternative version of the Victorian England, and the country has been at war with France for a decade. When the French are beginning to gain the upper hand in the conflict, a private association is founded in order to produce cutting-edge combat mechs. The player battles subsequent skirmishes that utilize the mechanics once introduced in the so-called "match-3" logic games. During each turn, the player can match objects on the map up to three times, erasing elements which symbolize money, ammo, energy, repairs, or the mech's cooling system. Afterwards, those are used to reinforce the player's combat machines, as well as to activate different special abilities. The in-game campaigns are randomly generated, and each time, the player's goals are to stop the forces of the French, and defeat their boss in a final fight.

DeadCore is a first-person arcade game by the 5 Bits Games team, which combines elements of a shooter and a platformer. The player's task is to reach the very top of a powerful tower consisting of structures drifting in the air. Along the way, we fight opponents, solve puzzles and use stunts to reach seemingly inaccessible places.

A cartoonish point-and-click adventure game by Venture Moon. In Duke Grabowski, Mighty Swashbuckler! You play as the eponymous uncouth pirate, who, following his mentor's death, decides to take on his role as a captain. Unfortunately, he finds no support among the other members of the crew, so the protagonist is put to a special test to prove that he is worthy of the title. The test consists of gaining the love of three women, but it quickly turns out that they're not what Grabowski expected. Gameplay-wise, it's a classic adventure game, in which you explore locations, gather items, have conversations and solve riddles and logic puzzle minigames. The visuals are a combination of cartoonish 3D characters with detailed, animated 2D backgrounds.

A turn-based strategy game and a continuation of Frontline: Road to Moscow. The creators from 88mm studio drew inspiration from the popular war film The Longest Day. The action takes place on the Western Front of World War II, during Operation Overlord - the Allied invasion of Normandy on 6th of June, 1944. The campaign consists of five extensive chapters in which you take part in real battles over Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword beaches, and the Cherbourg port. Mechanically, the title is similar to its predecessor – during turn-based fights, the player can command more than 100 types of land, naval, and air units. With the experience the units gain, the player can shape their army, and the maps based on authentic cartographic materials require us to account for such factors as the type of terrain and vegetation. The title utilizes the same graphic engine as Frontline: Road to Moscow.
